Great job. You look much younger.

350 over is no biggie. Sometimes you're over, especially if you're making this a life change. Forgive yourself and eat better tomorrow.

I just finished W2D1. Happy to add new friends who are also doing it. I've been on MFP for about 10 months, hit my goal and then immediately got lazy about tracking and gained some weight back (about 5lbs of which I plan on keeping). It looks like I really need a nice measurable target to keep me motivated and C25K is…

Great job!

I did a 10 week cycle of yayog which was pretty good. For the last couple of weeks I've been using I've been doing fitloop. I prefer doing a harder workout fewer times each week. Both get a thumbs up from me though.

I drink a lot of them in the summertime,Usually just greens, berries, and ice. It's more to get the nutrients than to lose weight. I would rather drink my greens than eat them.

Great job.

Well done!

Boo on no napping. I'm a SAH dad to a 6 month old and I've been walking and doing body weight exercises. I started with the book Convict Conditioning, but am now using You Are Your Own Gym. The author of that book also has one specifically for women, I think it's called Body by You. Feel free to add me if you want an…

If you are worried about adding calories, you can get lots of great flavor with lime juice, lemon juice, herbs and spices. Seriously, a squeeze of lemon juice on steamed broccoli makes it a lot more exciting. As someone said above, salt and sugar are fine for you in moderation and yummy fats are an important part of your…

Congrats. In addition to being healthier, you are a role model for those you teach. You're not just helping yourself, but them too.

As someone said earlier in the thread, this is from Hillel. It's always been one of my favorites. The full quote is "If I am not for myself, who will be for me? If I am only for myself, what am I? If not now, when? "

Done. If I had to guess your age based on your photos, I would have been 10 years off! That is something for me to aspire to.

Quite a transformation. Well done!

Wow! You look like a completely different person. Good job.

Don't count out Brussels sprouts. Ours were cooked in bacon with shallots, pecans, and cranberries. I don't think I got much higher than 3500 for the day. You all are the real heroes.

Great progress. Well done.

What a cutie! (and you look great too)

Don't sell yourself short. That's more that a pound a week. Great progress.

Feel free to add me. Especially anyone about my age who is interested in gaining fitness. Also anyone with great recipes they want to share. I'm happy to help motivate people if I can!

Don't know the specifics of your allergy, but soy is a migraine trigger for my wife. We've found that the soy lecithin at the end of the ingredients list and other similar soy products aren't a problem for her. Obviously you shouldn't make yourself sick, but a little experimenting may prove that you can get by a little…

At least three or four times a week I have a spinach, kale, blueberry, and cherry smoothie (I'm not a fan of bananas). It's a great way to get a couple servings of fruit and veg!

It really depends where you are walking or jogging as well. I wear a heart rate monitor and usually aim for a three mile walk at about 3.5 Mph. Pushing the stroller on a gravel trail around the lake can increase the calorie burn by almost 50% compared to sidewalks around the neighbourhood. Up and down hills makes a huge…

Don't know if bluegrass is your thing, but The Mountain by Steve Earl and the Delay McCoury band is one of my favorites for working out (the whole album). It makes me really want. To run/ride fast!
