Wow...It's been seven years since I posted that. About three years ago, I gained back all my weight due to stress and personal issues at home. I am proud to say that I refocused and lost 35 pounds since October 2019. I'm now at 225lbs and am looking to drop down to my goal of 170lbs. I know my original post mentions to…

Hi! I'm just now starting my weight loss journey, and I was wondering what is a good starting point for meal plans? What do you recommend for meals one should eat for breakfast, lunch and dinner? I'm 5'7" and 250lbs. I would love to drop down to 175lbs. I already have started working out for the last three weeks doing…

Wow! Awesome transformation! I'm going to use this as motivation for me!

Great job! So what was your routine?

I had to remind myself about this earlier today. I've been working out hard the last few weeks and haven't "seen" any results. At least my pants fit loose now... :-)

Good job! Today is my birthday (9/13) and I hope to reach my goal next year.

I've had the same issue: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/734717-forget-the-scale-focus-on-your-body

Great advice on here. Thanks.

Starting weight: 256 Current weight: 234 Goal weight: 175

I don't think I'll step on a scale any time soon...unless I notice a significant change in my body composition.

Same thing happened to me over the weekend. I was at a tailgate for a college game and I just could not eat any of the greasy BBQ ribs or brisket...but boy did I want to! I've found that after a month of clean eating, my body cannot stand greasy foods.

Great pics! I should print some of these out and place them on my wall.

I started noticing I was losing weight when I had to go down a notch on my belt. From there I noticed how loose my pants were. I've been a member of MFP for a while but I never took it seriously till last month. I'm 25 pounds down and have 60 pounds more to go to meet my ideal weight!
-
Outstanding! So what workout regimen are you following?
-
You Sir are my inspiration! I started at 256lbs and wantto drop down to 175lbs. MFP has been very helpful in my jouirney to become healthier and happier!

Now that's motivation right there! I just started working out and eating right, and I lost 12 lbs already. Started out at 256 lbs and am now 244 lbs. 70 lbs more to go!
