Just stick with it and the results will come. I am not from Greenbay, but I do live in northern Wisconsin, from Minocqua. Lots of vacationers up here.…

Hi Ashley, what works for me is just being consistent and patient, losing weight and living a healthier life is a "life style" change, and you have to come up a balance of exercise and eating right that will work for you for the rest of your life. Just remember to pick small goals, and achieve those first, and eventually…

Hi Jen, sorry to hear you have been feeling so poorly. As with getting back into the exercise, just take things very slowly and only one day at a time. Try to do other things that make you feel good, it will help with falling back into the old eating habits again. If reading a good book, or watching a good movie help, do…

Hi there, I am glad that MFP is going good for you. I think that interval training is very good for you, I like to incorporate it into my workouts. I don't have an actual heart monitor that I use, but some of the fitness equipment I use do have pulse monitors on them. You want to keep your heart rate high enough to get the…

Hi there, it sounds like you are on the right track, starting off slow and building up is correct. If you start out to fast to soon you may become discouraged. But running is good as long as your knees can take the extra stress on them. I learned that running with small steps or short strides does reduce the stress on your…

Hi Mirandar, welcome to MFP, I have seen a lot of posts where people say they want to lose baby weight. Eating right, and exercise are all good ways to accomplish this, but the biggest thing is to strive for a new life style, a life style change will help keep the weight off so that it doesn't creep back up again once it…

Hi Cleo, try eating smaller meals more often, otherwise allow for a snack bar or two through-out the day. I like to eat a fiber-one snack bar, it is good for me and satisfying. Otherwise light chocolate soy milk helps.. Good Luck! BJ:smile:

Hi KristinKaye, It must be tough working such an odd shift, I have worked evenings at the hospital now for over 20 years, my hours are from 1pm until 1130pm, so I understand how you feel. I bring my own lunch with me to work, I pack a sandwich, a natural applesauce, a sugar-free chocolate pudding, and a yoplait light…
