Pasta Fagioli is the only dish i can think of that has a sauce mostly made with tomato paste. Most sauces have it as an ingredient but not usually a primary one. This is the closest online recipe i could find to my Nonna's authentic Pasta Fagioli (which from my understanding, traditionally is not actually a soup) Also,…

Can't thank you all enough for your input. I've tried to reasearch and feel that I have found some good and some wrong and some conflicting information. It's great to get feedback from those of you who have firsthand experience/knowledge. Another reason to love this app.

whats your opinion on following the 5X5 strong lifts program, only with 3X10 (with cardio on the rest days). Thats what i've been doing for about 3 weeks. I enjoy it, but am a total novice and have a lot to learn. I appreciate any opinions/advice :)

just a matter of preference, but i like thick dressing as a dip and much thinner for a salad dressing, so i will take ranch (1 or 2 T) and put it in a small glass and add an equal amount of water or milk and stir it up, it thins it out and makes it go a lot farther, and i find it delicious.

That makes sense, thanks all.

That's awesome, and inspiring! Thanks :)

ok, I have a question about lifting (especially as a woman) Is it accurate that your body (any human body) will EITHER burn fat OR build muscle (bulk) but not both at the same time. That weight lifting, while eating at a calorie deficit, will help to retain muscle that that specific body already has while burning fat, but…

This is kind of unconventional, but i love to dip a spoon in peanut butter then dip that into a mix of chia and sesame seeds. Its sweet and salty and crunchy and savory and satisfying. (The only thing its missing is chocolate)

Also, -"I could care less" -And, subject-verb agreement (or well, lack thereof) "If you know someone selling a couch, tell them to call me" ("someone" is singular, "them" is plural) the word "irregardless" - thats the worst! I understand many people are speaking/typing English as a second language and…

One of the best ideas i've heard on here is not to count things that you did before you started watching/tracking, i.e... grocery shopping, mowing the lawn, walking for work, things that are not a change. i thought that was a great way to think about it.

interested in watching this, thanks!

Omg, I am so very sorry for your loss! My dad passed away Dec 30th last year, also on dialysis and also b/c of renal failure. It's an excruciating situation to go through but its a long personal journey. Don't ever think something you're doing is disrespecting him. Keep up with running and keep telling him about it (if…

That's awesome! Definitely have and keep goals, but celebrate any success, don't get discouraged if there's a week where it doesn't happen. Hold onto your optimism! Keep going :)

Read the book "Buddha's Brain" by Rick Hansen. It's less than $20 on many websites and bookstores and is available on ereaders and audio book if you prefer either of those. It had a PROFOUND impact for me!
