  • I'm so in! SW: 147 lbs. CW: 147 lbs. GW: 142 lbs. Weigh in Dates: 10/1 - 147 lbs. ( I will weigh in tomorrow but this was my weight on my last weigh in on Thursday) My favorite Pumpkin recipe is Pumpkin Chocolate Chip cookies. Calories per cookie isn't horrible. The horrible part is they are so good! I end up eating like…
  • I like the saying, it makes me giggle cause it is almost true. A brownie definitely is to die for! However, the feeling of that only lasts a couple minutes. The joy you get from being heathly and looking great in your clothes will definitely last a lot longer (as long as you dont eat like 15 brownies LOL)! With that said I…
  • I am a bit shy of 5'4 and a medium frame and my goal is 130lbs. Although I would love to be closer to 125! I am 137 now and shooting for a short term goal of atleast 135 by June! Which would seem easy, but I have been stuck at 137 since January!
  • I had the same thing after I had my son. It is mostly fat but some loose skin as well. I don't want to be blunt or anything I just know cause that is how my stomach looked afterwards. Mine was a result of gaining too much weight during pregnancy. Keep taking pictures though because that is how you will really notice a…
  • Ok so I just re-read the manual to my HRM and it says "THe Sportline S7 uses an advanced algorithm based on your personal profile (which includes age and gender only) to ESTIMATE your mavimum heart rate and calculate calories burned." Im taking this as I need a better HRM that takes my HR during my workout and calculate…
  • Yea I would think the HRM would be accurate. What confuses me is my HRM (which is a cheap one) only takes my heart rate when I push my index finger on the sensor thingy. It never prompts me to do it so I did it periodically during my workouts just in case. My next experiment I will leave the calorie counter on all day…
  • I get a lot of the same type of commets from my family. Personally I think you look great and healthy! I think it is just hard for the ones that see us all the time becuase we look different and it might scare them. Like my husband started with his comments when my face was thinning out. I admit it took some adjusting to…
  • I started at like 160/170lbs and a size16/18. Now 9 months later I am 137 and a size 9. Hoping to get to125 when i hit a year with MFP!
  • I make all those things as well with ground turkey instead of ground beef. It really can cut down on the calories. I make my meatloaf and lasagna with it and love it! Try homemade sloppy joes with it. I'm gonna be trying that this weekend since I've always made it with ground beef. We will see how it turns out! Good Luck…
  • THE FIRM! I love their dvds! They are so much fun and get your heart really pumping! They are a little tough for uncordinated people such as my self in the begining, but if you stick with it it is totally worth it! They even guarantee visible results in 10 workouts! I love all their workouts! I highly recommend them.…
  • If your activity level is set low such as sedentary I think if you really worked up a sweat go ahead and add it in. However, I wouldn't do it all the time. It definitely will not replace a good workout. If your like me, I set my activity level as sedentary, but I am a stay at home mother and highly doubt that I am…
  • I literally just wondering the same thing. I am potty training my son right now and haven't been exercising as much as I normally do. I used to exercise 5-6 days a weekand have gone down to 2-3 days a week while potty training. Today was my weigh in day and I lost almost three pounds this week?!? I was thinking the scale…
  • This is exactly what happened to me when I started using the Firm Dvds. The are tough to get at first but once i started getting it i just took off with it. I love the Firm DVDS and trust me if you stick with it they are fun and you will see results. Good Luck :)
  • I love working out as well and if my schedule permitted me to I would probably never take a day off. However, Im a busy mom and usually take a break on Tuesdays (library day for my son) and saturdays (i like to spend the day with my husband and son). I usually though get some form of informal exercise on those days. I say…
  • I totally do. Especially since I use to overeat so badly that i cherish the food I get now. Especially in the begining i wouldnt want to give my 2 year old son a bite of my sandwich LOL! I've eased up since then but I still like to keep my food for me. :)
  • out of your list I like 30 day Shred. I also live on workout dvds for my exercise. I rotate after a couple of days with a dvd. I absolutely love The Firm.
  • I findI drive myself crazy if a weigh myself everyday. More harm than good to weigh yourself everyday. I try to weigh myself atleast once a month to log my progress, but if your antsy I would say atleast wait a whole week in order to see a differnce. And I agree with everyone else. The am is the best time after you take…
  • I think we may be twins LOL! I am a stay at home wife and mother and a current college student and I love it all. I wouldnt have it any other way. I get remarks sometimes but I dont let it bother me for to long. I like taking care of my husband and son. I like having a clean and tidy house and have fun cooking meals. My…
  • I joined WW free trial for their online program and liked it a lot but was not willing to pay $ for someone to count calories/points for me! So a friend told me about MFP and I love it. It does exactly the same great things WW online does but for no $. I havent done my first weigh in with MFP since starting a little over a…
  • I felt the same way about level 2 when I peeked to. After finishing all 30 days though i found level 1 to be more difficult than level 2 and level 3 to be easier than level 2. Very weird. Don't be scared though after a couple times it will be better. Good Luck! :)
  • I switch up what I do just out of pure boredom. I do exercise dvds because I do not have a gym membership nor could I afford one. I love my dvds though. I also go for walks a lot. Im not sure I believe it 100%. I think if you continue what you are doing your endurance will build up and you will be able (and want to) go for…
  • I go for walks regulary walking my dog and pushing my son in a stroller. I dont have a heart monitor but I count it in cardio under "walking mod pac-walking dog". I marked myself in my profile as sedative because I am a stay at home mother and the examples for lightly active were nurse and mailman and I feel I dont walk as…
  • What is Bump?
  • Just like you said you have to really want it! Even though you have cut back a lot on your sugar intake and have lost a bunch of weight you have to buckle down in food intake and exercising. Try sugar free sodas/energy drinks. You'll get use to them if you make yourself stick to them. Same with excersize dvds. I do them…
