If you are a runner, I would recommend you to join CARA. Not only is it good for running, you can meet a lot of nice people. I only know this because my coworker is a CARA memeber/runner. There is also free running guides online, like how and when to add those miles. At least a 5k is fairly easy. It took me a months worth of training to be able to run the Chicago Monster dash.

I started jogging at 275,but it was a walk- jog. I also had a dislocated my knee 3 months before I had started. Nor was I a person that even could run a mile in grade or high school. I set small goals and 5 months later I jogged the Chicago 5k Monster Dash, weighing 221 lbs. I jogged it nonstop with a time of 45 minutes.…

I'm prouder of people who are taking charge of their life and working hard for their weight loss. For us, we are mentally ready to change our eating habits therefore more of a life change, that lasts. 7 years ago I was weighed 350. This past year I jumped up back to 270. I had enough, so I took control of my weight loss last year.

My end goal: I'm 5'4''. It would be nice to be 140 or 135, but my goal for "i'll be happy with myself" at 150lbs, the others are a bonus goal ideal.

I'm only allowed to eat 1,100 to 1,000 calories a day, because of my health condition. The Doctors thought that would save me from another heart attack while I try my best to lose weight.

I live with my grandfather and aunt, while wait until I can move to France (to be with my fiancé). Not one family member cares about my health even after my heart attack. I have just learned to take care of myself .. and not worry about others that don't care about theirs. For my birthday, I watch the whole family eat cake…
