I buy spaghetti squash. I take a sharp knife and stab holes in it then bake it in the oven. I cut it in half, shred the inside with a fork to make it look like spaghetti. I then cube chicken breast and cook it in olive oil in a skillet with onions, peppers, broccoli and garlic. I add the spaghetti squash when it's done and mix it together. It's pretty good.0

Spaghetti Squash baked
1 can diced petite tomato with Chile's
1 pkg turkey sausage, removed from casing and crumbled
1 chopped onion
3 cloves chopped garlic
1 tbsp olive oil
Saute onion garlic and sausage until no longer pink, drain. Add can of tomatoes (I drain slightly) simmer for 5 minutes on low. Gently toss with shredded spaghetti squash. Salt and Pepper to taste. Serve with a little parmesian cheese. Amazing.0 -

Great ideas If you like cabbage rolls, you can make a delicious lower carb high fiber dish. The canned ingredients are not low sodium but I tend not to worry too much about such things I just made this last night and everyone enjoyed it.
1 head cabbage, chopped
1 onion, chopped
1 tsp italian seasoning
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 pound ground turkey, ground beef or turkey sausage
1 can pasta sauce (I use Hunts 4 cheese)
1 can tomatoes or four fresh chopped tomatoes
Boil the cabbage for about 10 minutes and drain. Brown meat, onion and garlic. Mix all ingredients together and either bake for 40 mins @350, or cook in a crock pot on low for 6-8 hours. I usually use the crock pot. It is nice topped with mozzarella and I sprinkle parmesan cheese just before serving. Goes well with brown rice as a side if you choose.
It makes 6 good meal size servings for about 200 calories per serving. The carbs are about 25 net, depending on the sauce you choose.0
