  • Thanks for all the positive feed back! It's a really good feeling! Best wishes to the rest of you, let me know how it goes tonight when you try on yours!
  • I work retail clothing: Hips for my company is the widest part around your seat AKA your toosh! Often people think we are asking for the measurement around the hip bones, that is not the case. We want the butt measurement. Happy shopping!
  • I can relate. I had an apple fritter, made from the cider mill down the street. I am a little bummed because it alone took up nearly an entire meal in calories and not to mention the sugar and fat! Still trying to find out how I can squeeze a long enough work out in today to make up for it! EEEK!
  • I am also a realtor. Some agents/brokers will do that to avoid "wasting their time" but I don't think it is very good customer service. They should get your information, work with you and also collect some information such as what they asked for but I don't think that should be the pre-requisite for them working with you.…
  • The lunch boxes now days are compact and have a pocket for a flat ice pack to keep food cool. Sandwiches, leftovers, almost anything is better than gas station food. Toss in a granola bar, almonds, an apple or orange, carrots, and even some dip that will get him to eat it. Anything is better then gas station food.…
  • I personally have not. An office of people I work with did it together (5 women) and that lasted maybe a week or two and they have been stuffed under their desks (yes, all 5 of them) for about 2 years.
  • You may consider really focusing on your intake. Changing your eating habits for a couple weeks even can take care of the 20 lbs. I don't know what your starting weight is but someone in my family who has a significant amount of weight to loose started (on her own) to really watch her eating and do just a little walking…
  • Family of 5 (also on single income)...I feel your pain! LOL! Anyways, I would have to estimate we spend about 400.00 on groceries and toiletries. However, we buy our meat about twice a year from a butcher which is about 1200.00 per year. Bulk toiletries average about 50.00 So round it up to 550.00 give or take. Every time…
  • Count me in.
  • It can be hard to believe that our spouses feel attracted to us when we are not comfortable in our own skin. He LOVES you regardless. You are going a great job and very dedicated to the process. This is just one more step of that process. Keep up the good work. Your body will continue to change along with your confidence…
  • I did all the little things but I did not squeeze in my walking or dancing :( Will try again tonight!
  • Thanks so much for sharing.
  • Okay, Im in...I will not add though today. We may end up with more on the list than many people have time to do in a day! Im dreading the 20 minutes of dancing for sure. Guess I will have to watch some disney shows like Big Time Rush and dance with the kiddos!!! Yippy!
  • Done! Count me in tomorrow :)
  • Almost Done. I need to do the walk when I get home from work and eeek...still 5 more glasses of water. Glad you threw those in tho!
  • Thanks, I needed this today! Count me in!
  • I just broke down last week and bought 30 DS and a set of 3 and 5 pound weights. I use the 3 and its painful ;) I can take it though. In years past because I have been too cheep to buy weights I have used canned food. Might be a good compromise. Don't give up on your workout, modify it.
  • Thank you! I love silly jokes! I could have a hay day with a bunch of laffy taffy wrappers!
  • Very sorry for your loss. I used my pregnancy as a good time to cut coffee and start eating things that I would feel good about feeding a child. I just look at it exactly like that. I took to fruit, veggies, cheese and real meals instead of trying to sneak in fast food or junk food. Made me feel much better. Instead of…
  • How did I miss your post? I must have been out of it. Anyways. We are all here together and we will take it 1 pound at a time! Glad you turned me onto this site and glad I have such a good support buddy!
  • Also on a 1200 cal/day intake. Some days I do good, some I don't. I really try to drink water though. I find when I do it makes me full. A few snacks I use are a small bowl of cereal and yogurt. And if I only have those available when Im at work either I eat them or I go hungry. This is especially helpful if they don't…
  • Lucky you! Hit the stairs on your morning and afternoon breaks. Maybe even lunch if you have time! Or, spend a half hour after work in the pool swimming laps.
  • So, I LOVE water. It is my first choice. I quit buying soda years ago because it is so easy to go to when your thirsty and its cold in the fridge. So first, stop buying it ;) I need to practice what I preach but heres what helps me. I have a big cooler jug, I think I got it at walmart that has a lid and a straw. Try…
