    sore: keep going
true pain: take a break until it is just soreness again, and try again.

sounds like you might need to try less weight; it can only get and easier and you can only get stronger if you stick with it and build some muscle and muscle endurance!

Definitely try less weights! I tried it a few months ago using 5 pound weights, barely made it 5 minutes through and my shoulder hurt afterwards for almost a month. Tried again yesterday using 3 pound weights and was able to finish the entire workout!

you can even try without weights, I did it for first nine days coz i didnt have any weights, It's obviously not as effective as with weights, but you will be able to get through whole workout and still you will sweat a lot trust me. Once you bild up some muscle and strenght you will be able to start using weights again.
    Don't give up!!!

I just broke down last week and bought 30 DS and a set of 3 and 5 pound weights. I use the 3 and its painful ;) I can take it though. In years past because I have been too cheep to buy weights I have used canned food. Might be a good compromise. Don't give up on your workout, modify it.

You could try doing it with out any weights just your body weight. I had to drop my weights half way through a set and use my body weight.
If it isn't real pain keep going. Think how proud you will feel when it starts to get easier for you!

Did you stretch enough? If you don't that could be part of it. If your body is not used to doing moves like that. You need to push through. Sometimes doing exercise the following day will help with the soreness.. Keep TOUGH!!!
