It's hard to say. I had the implant inserted in my arm about 2 years ago. Since then I have gained 79lb. I think it had a lot to do with emotional eating and reduction in exercise, but I'm not sure that the implant was completely innocent. I put on at least 4lb everytime. So I've stopped weighing myself as I get too downhearted even though I know the reason. I eat olives when I want salt. At least they contain some minerals etc.

You should definitely eat the full calorie quota you are given. This is the amout of calories that your body needs to function if you are laying down all day. I noticed it in my arms and chest first - my boobs are really shrinking fast ( :-( ), then my face and tummy.... my legs are starting to change shape but I think that's from all the squats and lunges.

I don't ban anything - I've tried that before and it doesn't work! As long as you work it off it doesn't matter. (i've still been losing 4lb a week regularly)

Zumba is epic! I LOVE it!!! It's SO much fun! When I come out of my class, I'm always in such a great mood. The key is to do everything to your level - so if you can't do everything as fast for instance, just do it at your pace. That way you'll enjoy it! :-)

If you have your period it is probably that - I read a message board where dozens of women said they gain 4-10lb everytime they have their period and then it goes again. I've stopped weighing myself that week because the weight gain puts me off! :)

To be honest, I'm eating a greater volume of food now than I was before I started eating more healthily and I'm losing weight and I'm never hungry. I am supposed to eat 2100 calories per day. I exercise roughly 1000 calories most days and eat back nearly all my calories every time along with the extra carbs, protein and fat and still lose 4lb every week unless I do something crazy. There is nothing wrong with egg yolk - eggs are about 70 calories each, so that means the three egg added up to 210 calories and the oil was 60 calories. If you would like to cut the calories, try poaching the eggs until the yolks are hard - I think they taste even better and you will save 60 calories and lots of fat :)

I think when it says that you have burnt an extra 500 calories it means 500 and not 400, because your body used the 500 to move you and the other normal 100 for breathing etc. Eating back my exercise calories really seems to work for me - I seem to be regularly losing 4lb per week.
