Hello team! I am Mary (or Mimi is my nickname). I am looking forwards to the accountability of this group, as I do best when I am logging my food consistently. Thanks for having me in your group! :)

I rocked day one... then got too lax on day two and three. I know what I need to do, love Keto, just need to make sure I stay focused. I've got this!

I like to put chicken breasts or thighs in the slow cooker, add a little salsa on top and let it cook. When done, shred the chicken and serve it over cauliflower rice (I'm a huge fan of the new frozen cauliflower rice) and add some cheese on top. It goes great with some sliced avocado too!

I found this link today that has a bunch of ideas using fathead. Worth trying! :) http://healthylivinginbodyandmind.com/24-fathead-cheese-dough-recipes-low-carb-gluten-free/

I have PCOS and lose slooooow. However, I am feeling great. I started eating lower carb around the middle of Feb. and a few months ago started eating Keto. I have lost 32 pounds so far and a lot of inches. Some milestones: *Went from a size 18 to a size 10 (sometimes an 8) *My fibromyalgia is much better *My cravings for…

No news feed here either. Boo! :#

I haven't noticed it it spikes my blood sugar, but I have to avoid artificial sweeteners because they give me bad headaches.

I love BPC. I have it every morning. Mine is 2 cups of coffee, 1 tbsp coconut oil, 1 tbsp butter, and 1 tbsp. hwc... then I blend it in my Ninja. It wakes me up and keeps me full until the afternoon.

Thanks for sharing! I posted it to my facebook group too.

I have been eating 1/2 cup ricotta cheese, 2 tbsp butter, dash of cinnamon... microwaved for a minute or so and then mixed. It is a recipe from a keto cookbook I just bought.

I wish I could drink diet drinks, but artificial sweeteners give me killer migraines. I just figured out that diet root beer with a little heavy whipping cream tastes like a root beer float, and then I realized I can even have a sip without a headache. I'd say go for it, and if you see your weight loss slow or if you are…

I agree, so many people think this way of eating is just a fad or won't work long term. I am just going to ignore them as weight drops off of me and I feel better than I have in years. There is no going back for me. It is very obvious to me that my body likes this way of eating.
-
Mmmmm... I just tried this for the first time. Very tasty! Thanks for sharing!

On my recent trip to Ruby Tuesday I had 2 mini burgers without buns or ketchup, had the spaghetti squash instead of fries, and made a carb friendly salad off of the salad bar.
-
I'm still full from my BPC this morning, but when I do eat I think it will be a few ounces of my left over pork roast and a salad. I need to work on getting more green veggies in and see if that helps with the bruises I'm getting.

Great job everyone! :) I started with just trying to lower carbs and added sugar. That led to slowly losing 20 pounds. Then 8 days ago I started logging consistently and keeping my net carbs below 20 a day. That has led to 6 more pounds gone. Yay! SW: 217 CW: 188.9

At first I didn't think butter would be good either, but I really enjoy it now. I use my Ninja to blend it and that makes it a lot better than just stirring it.

Thanks @Frigs ! I'm starting to fit in some of my clothes that I had outgrown. I am getting out some of my smaller sizes and hanging them in the closet for inspiration :)
