I just had this done. Would love to chat if you want.

I make a 10 calorie hot chocolate some nights - 1 tbs. of unsweetened cocoa powder, a tsp. of vanilla and a packet of splenda.

In my 9th week. Down about 9 pounds.

You are truly an inspiration.

Agree .

I tried Paleo for an autoimmune condition (recommended to try to avoid wheat) but it was too much meat for me so it didn't last long. I only really can tolerate chicken and tried to branch out to other things, but had a hard time with it. I didn't feel good eating that much meat and that much fat either. I know it works…

Yoga pants, t-shirt, sweatshirt or hoodie, and a robe. Naked? Never.

Sorry you are in pain, but I LOL'd at "pain baby." I have a host of back issues. If you have inflamed anything, better to rest for a couple of days. Hope you feel better soon!

I gave up creamers and just use flavored coffee with agave syrup or black. It's easier.
-
I am trying to give it up because I know it contributes to my inability to lose the 10 pounds that's been plaguing me forever. I am in a profession with tons of social things and I have a lot of personal social things - happy hours, dinners, entertaining, etc. That makes it hard.

I agree it does take work and is not easy. But, just as having one child doesn't make someone an authority on parenting, having one pregnant wife doesn't make one an authority of pregnancy for the masses. I have hypermobility syndrome (fortunately not extremely severe). But, the pregnancy hormones caused all sorts of…

Yes - starvation will work, but it harms your body. Eat good, healthy, whole food. No one gets fat on 1200 calories of nutritious (not processed, prepackaged crap) food.
-
That's funny - I ate totally different with mine and gained the same. First, I ate way more junk. Second, I ate way more healthy. 60 pounds to the T with both. I think a lot of it is genetic predisposition.

Friend us older ladies. I can't speak for the masses, but I had those tendencies, too, when I was younger. Age adds some perspective. Don't spend your good young years battling yourself. It's not worth it. I swear. You look gorgeous.
-
Glad your wife had it easy, but it's not so easy for everyone.

60 each time, but I was pretty thin starting and I lost it (well, since the second, I have struggled with 5-8 pounds that will be my demise, but I am also older and have a desk job). I was sick and miserable and felt hungover every day, so I ate a lot of carbs, I was also hungry ALL. THE. TIME.
-
Wonderful job! You look great and I am sure you are feeling great, too!
-
Agree. I am praying for two to be out of the hospital. Food has little to do with it.
-
Thank you! I appreciate your response - I am doing a lot wrong. I am trying to cook for 4 people pretty much every day, plus finagle my meals and I really need to re-vamp how I do things. I also think I need to plan out and put handy the meals that I know I can leftovers out of plan them. It looks like I am going astray by…

I always buy small packs, so that is probably where I am going wrong. I did chicken in the oven, but only did 3 breasts, so that was one meal plus lunch. I need to double or triple clearly.
-
That looks good - maybe I will make that tonight ;-) I think I should make and freeze a couple fritatas during the week (I am guessing those would freeze well?). I definitely need to prepare better for sure.
-
Maybe I need to triple my meals - I usually have enough leftovers for one lunch, but not when I am not home for 3 meals, two-three times a week. I don't big batch cook, but maybe I need to do that on Sundays. I have a hard time eating leftover meat, too, so that's why I have avoided cooking meat for days in advance. I…

My point was that she could find a restaurant that was compatible with her dietary needs where she wouldn't have soup as the only option. Of course, I am envisioning that as her only option based on the OP. And, notwithstanding, it may be that she doesn't want to have pizza. My family had pizza tonight. I *could* have had…

Despite what others say, you don't have to eat pizza. Just try to pick restaurants where you will be happy. I ate a vegan or vegetarian diet for a decade and I just requested that we find restaurants that could accommodate us all. Do that and you will be happy.

I don't see how "Whole 30" is really that great of a predictor if food bothers you unless its digestive. I am trying to eliminate gluten b/c there are studies that it's connected with my disorder. But, since my disorder took years to really be a noticeable problem, I am guessing 30 days of changing my food is not going to…

(Sorry - my quoting skills are poor). I have vitiligo. It doesn't make me feel badly and it took about 3 years to spread (fortunately I am pretty pale, so it's not as not noticeable as if I was dark skinned, but my point is, you can have things that are amiss that don't make you feel "badly." I am trying to change my diet…

I just baked mine, but thought it wasn't dry at all. I did dip it in eggs first.

Use EVOO instead of butter for sautéing. Drink rice milk and Rice Dream (ice cream).

I love the people who say the only people who do this are fat and lazy when you can tell from the pictures that most of the people who said they have used one are not overweight, have multiple young kids, etc. I also love how many people criticize, but don't have kids. And, the ones that do and are older (and not from this…
