My family is going on a cruise the last week of May, I know I will not meet my long term goal by May but a good 40+ lbs is a good goal for me by then. I would love to lose more and I think I am well on my way there.

Good job on getting up and saying today was the day. I did that as well, on Jan 3rd, I got up and said no to the soda that I would normally start my day off with to wake up and instead made myself a glass of milk and a bowl of Cream of Wheat. And since then I have done the same thing.

I have that problem, my friends are all really small and it kinda sucks when you see yourself in pictures next to them when you are hanging out. I know they would be supportive of all of this but I do not think they know what it is like since I can see them eat anything and never put on a pound. But being on here is good…

Because I do not pick a lot during the day I have taken to adding a banana with a meal(any). A good sized banana could get you 180 calories though if you are watching your carbs they are kinda high (50). It also helps with your daily fruits. I also have the same problem as you, I eat three meals a day and maybe a snack bar…

So I am new here and when the first post you see is someone saying that they were able to do it, it makes it seem all that much better. I hope that one day that will be me posting my progress pictures. Congrats by the way.

I have been almost 48 hours with out a soda, I figure it is a start, I still have much to go but cutting the sodas is a huge help on the calories I know.
