Reached my goal last fall but have but gaining and losing the same 5 pounds many times since then. Would be ok losing another 5 or so but would also be ok maintaining where I am. I haven't officially changed my goal calories to maintains but it is set to 1/2 pound a week loss. Would also like more friends in similar…

Thanks! I'm always looking for new breakfast ideas. They look delicious and never would have thought to microwave them!

I get on the scale daily (usually twice a day - morning and night) but only official record my weight on Friday mornings before I eat anything.

It's probably because you had lost weight since the last time you had set it. You should go in a make it recalculate every 10 pounds or so. I'd rather lose 20 calories every now and then instead of waiting a long time and losing a lot at one time.

I walk 25 minutes on my lunch break on an indoor track , usually 1.5 miles, 3-4 times a week. With that plus staying under my calories most of the time, I lost 30 pounds in 6 months.

I have not completely given up any one food or type of food and I've lost 33 pounds. Yes I still eat out, even McDonald's. I track it and account for it. I really think this is the reason I have been able to stick to it - unlike all the other times I've tried to lose weight. I'm not a fruits and veggie kind of person. Do I…

I haven't stopped eating out but I try to limit it My co-worker were hard to deal with in the beginning because we used to eat out a lot. Now we go only go Fridays (Friday morning is my weigh-in so I figure I have a whole week to lose it LOL). But I still eat out with my family too but its more sporadic (some weeks 2 times…

Awesome! You are doing so good and have such a wonderful attitude about this journey.

Awesome! You are doing such a good job. Keep up the good work.

I agree with others about doing errands other times and getting in some exercise during lunch. Not every day but 2 to 3 times a week. My lunch break used to be my errand time too until in May I decided it was MY time - the errands will get done eventually. I usually walk for 25 minutes and eat a quick lunch. I also bought…

Take the stairs instead of elevator whenever possible. Don't fight for close parking spots - the further back the more steps to get there. Volunteer to do the deliveries for the office to get more walking in. Yoga facial and neck exercises while in the car to help with double chin.

Lately I have doing Crunch :Fat Burning ab attack, in the past I have done 10 minute solution kickbox bootcamp. I tried a few of the dance ones but found that I'm not that coordinated lol

Good for you! I don't know if I could have turned it all down lol - but I have found it has gotten easier to turn stuff down than I ever expected it to get

If you go into your settings and change from losing to maintain, it should tell you how many calories to eat. I'm not there yet but have playing with thinking I can't wait til the day I can have that many calories. I plan to keep logging for a while until I get adjusted to that amount of calories but don't plan on logging…

I agree with you. I would have never thought and app/website was the key to my weight loss but it is! I think its because of the accountability - knowing if I eat it I have to log it and every one of my friends can see it. And like you said the motivation from friends - hearing their stories, knowing you aren't alone on…

When I first joined I was nervous to have other people see what I was eating - that they might criticize me for it. Now it is open to my friends. For me it helps with accountability. If I don't want anyone to know I'm eating something, then I probably shouldn't be eating it! I wish more of my friends would have theirs open.

Good luck! I know you can do this. I'll be thinking of you in the morning. Just pictures us all cheering for you at the finish line :) Can't wait to here how it goes.

I bought a Taylor Lithium Digital Thin Profile Bath Scale Model 7340 in January from walmart online for about $30. No matter how many times I get on and off I weight the same each time.
-
Wow! That is self control. Don't know that I could have done that. You should be VERY proud of yourself.

If you go back and log you last few period start dates it should adjust your average cycle. Not sure how many it would take. When I started using it it put in the last year and it averaged mine right (I'm 25 days).

I walk on my lunch break - but we have an indoor track at work. I usually do 30 minutes. When I get back I apply deodorant, use body spray and set in front of a small fan in my office for a few minutes. It is usually the only exercises I do. But I just found some apps for my iphone that are daily workouts (you chose 5,…

There is a section on the forums called recipes - also you can search for a specific food (example chicken or casserole)

I have a son that is pretty chunky . I agree with everyone's suggestions of adding more fruits and vegetables and exercise. I have spoke to my pediatrician and his number one rule was NO second plates.

I never thought I'd run but I started slowly and now am doing C25k program - It was hard to start (still is hard at times) and I feel like I look so clumsy doing it but I feel so much better afterwards.

I've never heard of it but will definitely look into it now. But just like exercise I don't usually have much time for reading lol
