  • Fantastic! I'll be a junior at Carnegie Mellon and I've gained the freshmen 10 over 2 years :( losing weight is bas enough as it is, but now I have 10 more pounds to shed. Looking forward to starting next semester with a healthier outook. Finals week is the true test though!
  • I'm also going to be a junior! Definitely gained 10 pounds at college, but trying so hard to lose it. Doesn't help that during the summer I work full time and at school I am busy all day :(. But I've learned eating and exercising are equally important as grades

  • I also have PCOS and insulin resistance, which doesn't go very well with my love of carbs :( I finally got my insulin levels down to normal, but the weight has just climbed. Glad to know that there are so many women on this site with the same problems as me! Good luck to all :)
  • Congrats! I found out I had PCOS 7 years ago when I was just 13. It has ruled my entire teen years and the weight has just kept piling on. It's great to hear that PCOS can be beaten! It gives me hope that I can eventually lose the pounds and stop blaming PCOS for my problems. :)
