Killer Clowns from Outer Space. (it would explain A LOT about my dating history)

Do you have an Aldi near you? It will save your life. We feed two people, one vegetarian and one flexitarian, on about $50 a week (we're in Dallas) and get most of our stuff at Aldi. We rarely spend more than $20 at Aldi and it is the bulk of our groceries. They have recently started carrying a number of gluten-free…

I'm on my second 30DS. Yes, sometimes I find her annoying, especially when I hear the same patter over and over and can't fast forward through it :). But I just sort of tune her out at some point and just check in periodically to make sure I'm on track. I keep hoping I'm going to get to the point where I can mute her and…

Yup, mine too! I keep my hands on -- not a deathgrip, though if someone needs to hold on for dear life, that's OK too :) -- to get the heart rate measure.

Normally I'd say don't feed the troll, but I think this one needs a sandwich.

My comfortable jeans are now falling off my *ss. I've had to buy more sports bras since I work out almost every day now. I've had to purchase stronger deodorant since I work out so much more and sweat harder. I do 1-2 extra loads of laundry per week due to added workout clothes -- especially since my partner now works out…

Agreed. In the US, at least, you're far more likely to be assaulted by someone you know in a situation you felt was safe, than to be grabbed by a stranger on a running path. Of the reported sexual assaults on female victims in the US, more than 2/3 are committed by someone you know. And you still spend time alone with male…

Make cave paintings on the wall with chocolate pudding. Tell him it's your poo.

My only must have for Whole Foods is a paycheck 3 times the size of the one I actually get :)

Ask if, since he's so into eating the way paleolithic human did, if he has any recipes for roadkill or insects. Maybe even something like, "So, I passed this dead possum on the side of the road this morning and couldn't resist. Since anthropological evidence says early humans were hunters rather than scavengers, I was…

We feed two -- one vegetarian and one flexitarian. Our usual list looks something like this, though we don't buy every item every week. Tofu Morningstar Farms Grillers crumbles Eggs (2 dozen) Cheese (cheddar and jack) Almond or soy milk Soy creamer Whole grain bread Peanut butter Broccoli Carrots (baby and large) Celery…

Only if you mix it with coconut oil. Coconut oil is the only food in the world that increases your metabolism.

I am not a medical doctor. This is not medical advice. I am not a psychologist. This is not psychological advice. You might benefit from a few sessions with a therapist to dig into your feelings about food and why your relationship with it is so fraught. A session or two with a nutritionist might also be helpful. If you…

Us Saggies can also eat whatever we want, as long as we shoot the person who's eating it and steal it.

Maybe you're like me and your body just works differently.

Do you have any peer reviewed studies to back that up?

When I actually get up and cook, it's 2 eggs sunny side up, 2 slices of soy bacon, 4 oz of vegetable juice, and coffee with soy creamer and agave nectar. When I don't get up in time to cook, it's whole grain cereal with almond milk or a protein bar on the way out the door. When I'm treating myself, it's a bagel with light…

Gods, sounds a bit like my ex-husband. Including the "drinking lots of beer" bit. Which are both reasons, among many others, why he's my EX-husband. It sounds like there are bigger control issues here, OP. The pizza thing is a topic -- better figure out what the underlying issue is.

I've got nothing to say, but as a sociologist I can't wait to see where this thread goes....*pulls up the comfy chair and gets out her notepad*

^^^This. And I would add that his email sounds passive aggressive and manipulative. He says he wants you to leave him alone then says you can keep in contact and gives you an idea where he will be. He is getting off on the fact that you are hanging on so hard. (I was married to an *kitten* like this, complete with the…

Hell yeah, fat girls can do yoga. I've had a regular yoga practice even at my heaviest (240lbs), including headstands and other advanced poses. Yoga's great because you have to lift your own body weight. So the more you weigh, the more weight you lift, and the stronger you get!

I have a custom-drawn tribal work dragonfly over my sacrum, and no one has ever called it a tramp stamp. (I'd hit anyone who did.) I get a lot of compliments on it, actually.

I will echo what everyone else has said here. Pick ONE thing that you KNOW you can do, and do it consistently for a period of time. I find just the act of logging EVERYTHING that goes into my mouth -- even on a bad day, which today was for me! -- helps keep me conscious of what I'm eating. Transitioning from caloric drinks…

There's a great recipe at Fat Free Vegan...I don't have the URL handy, but Google it and it will come right up. One thing we do is use tofu instead of ricotta. If you mix silken tofu with some nutritional yeast, garlic, and herbs, it is remarkably cheesy with a lovely fluffy texture. We mix mushrooms into ours as well.…

My all time favorite was Wallaby's Dulce de Leche, which they don't seem to make anymore. Wallaby's Maple is a veeeery close second. I can only get it in two places in my city, though.

I like the cookie dough protein one and the peanut butter cookie regular one. That said, I usually do Think Thin creamy peanut butter if I'm going to eat a protein bar because they're dairy and gluten free and keep me fuller longer.
