  • Walmart has a knock-off of the Crystal Light tea and it has even less of something (just don't remember what it is at the moment). It's cheaper and I used to like the taste even better than the Crystal Light. I used to drink that to wean myself off of sodas. Anyway...yeah.
  • Oh, you'll probably get tired of that one. I love that one and use every chance I get. lol
  • As of a month ago, living in a teeny-tiny town - Meridian, Mississippi.
  • Me too. Both
  • The Count of Monte Cristo (2002 version) - love, love, LOVE this movie!! The Illusionist Lord of the Rings
  • Awesome story! I can't tell you how many times I've felt like that too and as much it would probably (knowing my own personality) annoy me to have someone try to encourage me like that, it would stick in my head. It would click and those words would stick with me for a loooong time. That's where all MFP'ers come into…
  • Oh no! I'm aggravated for ya! :explode:
  • that was funny. Welcome to MFP kkeiper! I'm sure that was unintentional...I mean about the part about you wanting to have more...husbands or kids? lol
  • It is extremely hard to eat right when everyone else around you doesn't give a damn. My hubby cooks for himself now. I cook for me and the kids most of the time. I'm so ashamed to say that my youngest son is obese for his age. As hard as I try, I can't always make him eat whatever I'm eating when daddy's food is so much…
  • I had completely cut soda out of my life a year ago. I don't know how I got back into drinking my caffeine-free, diet coke, but I have. It's not a lot (one 20oz. bottle a day on avg.), but considering I have the hardest time drinking anything throughout the day, that's bad. I'm still sipping on a cup of coffee I made at…
  • I'm here too. Checked myself back in last week, I think. Anyway. I've been attempting the C25K (Couch to 5k), and poorly I might add. But I'll get there. We all will. Here's to good health! :drinker:
  • Love that! In fact, it is now my motivational quote for the day.
  • I've never been so close as you are to your goal (but I'll get there  ). But I've always given myself a day off - Fridays. I don't pay attention to calories on those days, but I am aware of what I put in my mouth. One of my trainers told me the same thing...and for the same reason you mentioned. But since you are so…
  • Well goodness. You're just starting out. You're body's probably thinking WTH?! I say take a break!! I'm serious. Let your body rest for a day. You really don't need to be working out every single day. Besides, you'll burn yourself out or get bored really quick for a beginner. Give your body a break. I'm sure that this…
  • I can't think of one thing I don't eat anymore or have given up for health reasons. Although there are some things that I just don't like anymore (like Sprite...waaay too sweet, I don't know how I ever used to drink that stuff). I try to find substitutions for everything and do a pretty good job, even if I do say so…
  • You can do it mommared!! keep trying.
  • okay. here goes (i'm not good at explaining stuff sometimes)... you see a pic online somewhere and you want to post it here. hover your mouse over the image you like and right-click. If you use Firefox choose... "Copy Image Location"If you use IE (Internet Explorer) choose "Properties" A information box will pop up. Look…
  • Whoah! WOW! I have been gone awhile. Last I remember, you just found out you were pregnant. You look amazing!
  • I did my time line (weight loss calendar posted on my kitchen wall now) the other day, and if I keep at it, I should be at 140 by 01/01/10! That will leave me with less than 20lbs. to my goal!! I am very excited about that. :drinker:
  • LMAO! Love it!
  • Ohmigosh! I didn't know there was actually this thread around! LOL  Too funny!
  • I think maybe we should change the title of this thread to "who killed the thread?" I did!
  • I know it sounds really crazy to eat what you burn exercising. It's hard for most of us to wrap our minds around the thought since most of us were taught the whole eat less exercise more. I had my doubts when I first started, but it does work. It did for me. I'm back on track now, but learning all the things while I was…
  • Well, most of you don't know me...or remember me. But I'm back in the game (well, not really a game, but you know what I mean) come Monday. You'll be hearing lots from me. I like to talk about anything and everything and usually have an opinion on the same. lol So like it or not, prepare for the now, unemployed SAHM with…
  • Thanks for the warm welcome. I need to go bike shopping. =) I'm looking forward to getting to know everyone here. :flowerforyou:
  • I need to psyche myself up for this. I always give myself a start date. =) That's just how I always do things.
  • Woman! I tell ya...you are AWESOME! I can't get over the weight you've lost! I'm glad to be back! I've been logging in my foods like a good girl and started back at the gym again. But now, I'm all icky. I'm starting to feel a little bit better and really wanting to get into a swimsuit before the summer is completely…
  • Thanks! Making my way back slowly but surely. I'm all sicky and icky with germs right now  , but I have been back to the gym. I ready to continue! You're looking GREAT by the way! :drinker:
