If you have access to a microwave in your hotel room, I'd recommend Hormel Compleats meals. They're high in sodium, but in my opinion they taste pretty good and they don't need to be refrigerated. I also like dry oatmeal, so getting a variety pack would be a decent way to get some variety.

I'm not so sure about that. When your idea of a three-way involves you, your husband (bf?), and a theoretical entity, I think every other woman would seem wild in comparison.

If it's a big city, find out if it has any popular sports teams. Now go buy a jersey for their biggest rival.

Some people focus heavily on the macros, but I don't think that it's that important. As long as you eat a generally healthy mix of foods, you can lose weight just fine. I've never been too worried about them, and I've lost about150 pounds in the last year or so.

I'm better. And even a little is still better. It helps me keep perspective when I feel upset that I'm still not the sexiest man alive (I'm sure you all know what I mean).

10:55 PM. That's when I brush my teeth at night, so food tastes weird after that. Then I go to bed, and I don't want crumbs in my sheets, anyway.

For starters, congratulations on taking the first step to a healthier you! As for the questions then: Calories in, Calories out is the most important factor. Congratulations! Or, sorry to hear that. Or...enjoy your healthier lifestyle, or something.

An apple fritter. What can I say? I'm a man of simple tastes.

Not eating back exercise calories doesn't necessarily mean that you won't lose weight. Even when my average net calories were under 1200 per day (over several days or weeks) I still lost weight. I won't claim that this is the best or most reliable method, but it can work.

15 pounds isn't that much- especially if you have a lot to lose. It takes time for your weight loss to become noticeable.

I can't imagine it's much worse than anything else in the world (everything causes cancer nowadays, including sunlight). I drink one or several diet sodas almost every day and it hasn't hurt me in losing weight, so I wouldn't worry about it.

Your goal sounds very reasonable- I've lost about that much since this May. One thing that I've found that helps me is setting exercise goals instead of ( or in addition to) weight-loss goals. We all hit weight plateaus from time to time, regardless of what we do. That in mind, it helps me to focus on what I can control…

Keep in mind while you consider the above that men and women have different healthy body fat ranges. I think 10% body fat for a man is healthy, but is too low for a woman.
