  • 6 pounds in 2 weeks is great! Congratulations on your hard work :)
  • My pic is in my bathroom after getting ready for a Josh Turner concert. I liked it because my face doesn't look as fat as in some of my other pics :)
  • I've done it once and was very successful. It was about 8 years ago. I lost 35lbs and maintained for quite awhile before getting pregnant, then divorced and somehow ending up where I am now. I really enjoyed it and loved the accountability of going to meetings and weighing in. Unfortunately, my schedule and my budget are…
  • I have this same problem, too. We all do the best we can and have to do what works with our lifestyles, schedules and bodies. I agree that eating something healthy is better than not eating at all. Good luck!
  • Hi, and welcome. My dad has diabetes. He's being doing "okay" with it for the past 12 years or so, but I wish he would do more. He is insulin dependent now and has some other medical problems popping up. It scares me. I am built a lot like he is and I can see myself going down that path easily. So here I am.... :glasses:…
  • I cannot believe how many people hate avocados! I seriously thought I was the only one. Everyone thinks I am nuts. The texture and the taste make me want to gag. Speaking of gagging............ Brad Pitt? What's the big deal? I think he is boring and his gf is weird!
  • I did switch to sea salt when my mom head blood pressure problems a few years go. I haven't tried any substitutes yet anyone know of a good one to try? I don't have high blood pressure, but I know it is not good for me. Also, I don't need the extra water retention.
  • Oh, I love pepper, too! The always go together :)
  • I did WW about 8 years ago, but I think it is different now. It worked well, but the cost and time commitment became an issue. I do like the accountability of being weighed in by someone else every week though. I'm hoping I can do as well tracking my own progress here on MFP.

  • I think a lot of us are in the same boat. I am no longer married, but I remember how I felt when my ex wanted to watch or go with me. That said, I think we all need to remember that we won't reach our goals without the support and encouragement of other people. If your husband really wants to help, I would advise that you…
  • I make my own at home and use the flavored creamers. Yes, they have artificial sweeteners and all of that, but I figure one or two tablespoons a day will not hurt me. I need my coffee in a serious way! I would try making it at home so you can experiment with the different things you like and save money. Starbucks is such a…
  • Other than the obvious reasons of feeling and looking better, I want my ex-husband (who ended up with a 21 year old) to be SO regretful. Not the nicest reason, but a very honest one!
  • I started this morning! :flowerforyou:
  • Actually, if you have a previous back injury it is very easy to re-injure yourself doing the simplest things. I have hurt my back reaching for my toothbrush in the medicine cabinet and putting something in the deep grocery carts at Costco. Try not to be too hard on yourself and take it slow at the gym while your back…
