I'm the first to say I'm guilty of it... and I *hate* that about myself. I'm working on it. :)

People who rush to judgment about others.

Steel Cut Oats. Add cinnamon & a little "light" Smart Balance with Flax seed oil. If you need to eat something sweet, add a few raisins OR organic honey (not too much). This breakfast is very filling, imo.

Check this out (hose are back in style): http://today.msnbc.msn.com/id/26184891/vp/33175984#33175984 Do what makes you comfortable... :) How *you* feel is most important.

NICE!! Great job!!

Hi Tammy. Welcome to MFP. If you need a pal, add me. :)

I've gotten that look - but it wasn't due to muscle. It was when I was too skinny, then years later when I was overweight. Shrug. You have to be happy with yourself. - When you are, I'm sure you're much more fun to be around... and you probably feel better about yourself. He should reap some benefits from that. :)

Way to go!! :)

Do you have a YMCA near you? I belong to one. They have everything - even daycare. :)

Very good way to burn off the anger. :) Lemons to lemonade. I'm burning off all the emotional crap from last year... it feels great. :)

I've increased my protein significantly per the advice of my trainer (I'm also *over* MFP suggested amount). I've also substituted added sugar for natural sugar and replaced simple carbs with complex carbs... since I've started making changes in my diet, I've dropped 4 lbs. Never thought that eating things like eggs and…

Yes, but I think your body gets used to it after a while and doesn't "react" as much - at least that's what I "hear". ;) LOL

Would it help if your husband was the liason? I know you probably want to handle your own problems and that it's more mature to deal with issues directly b/w the people involved, however... if she isn't supportive in words or deeds, you might need to ask him for help. - I'd do that or I'd ask them to come visit on our turf…

Steel Cut Oats... they don't taste like much, but they are satisfying and stave off hunger. I cook it in the evening and store in the fridge because I don't want to wait 20 minutes for it to cook in the am...

I weigh almost every day because I like to keep tabs on what's going on. Personally, I find it motivating. However, if I've gone to an event where I was "bad", I usually stay off the scale for a week, tweak my routine (diet & exercise) during that week... by the time I get back on it, I'm back where I was before the fall.…

I wouldn't give it up completely - 'cause as much as you love it, the more likely it is that you will fail. What I have done is eat it in moderation. In late February, I made the commitment to lose the weight - but I made no such commitment to stop eating sweets. Rather, I made the commitment to try to resist temptation…

12 lbs is my best loss in 30 days.

Keep it up!! You are doing GREAT!! :)
-
I don't worry about it at all... I go on as if nothing happened and do better the following day.
-
Wow. I wouldn't have been able to hold my tongue. 'Probably would have said, "Honey, now that is what I love about you... that you are concerned about the *important* things." I'm so sorry. Sometimes men can be Weiners. :(

Don't be discouraged - rather, keep it up. Arielian is right... weight fluctuates a lot. I know mine does. Tomorrow I won't be weighing because my legs feel like tree trunks from my workout today... I tore them up, and they're retaining water.

This is GREAT!! Good for you! My personal favorites are the treadmill, Bowflex treadclimber and the spinning bike. I have used the elliptical, and I like it, too. I totally agree with one of the previous posts advising you try a variety of machines. You never know - there might be something else out there that you fall in…

Do you have something like Craig's List over there? Perhaps a classifieds section of a local newspaper? Used work-out equipment is pretty inexpensive when you buy from the public. I bought mine at a sporting goods store (****'s). They were not inexpensive, imo. Good luck :)

Morning coffee. I simply cannot live without it.

I get those occasionally (not as much as I used to). When they start, I straighten my knee and pull my toes up as far as I can. The charlie horse, almost immediately, goes away.

Find a good consignment shop. :)

Yes. I'm struggling with that myself. I did some research a week or two ago on the subject. I found that some people get motion sickness from some ab exercises or you're doing too much. Neither were the case for me, so I asked my trainer. She said I'm running out of fuel... too add protein to my diet - before working out.…
-
Personally, I need fuel for my workouts.

For me, it's apx every 10 lbs. Interesting tid bit, though... I weigh 132 and wear a size 8. My trainer weighs 138 and wears a size 4. So, you're right about muscle tone, etc.
