I love the Les Mills classes. My favourite classes are Step, BodyAttack, BodyJam and (to a lesser extent Pump). I use a HRM to track my calories burned - I generally avg around 550 for Step and BodyAttack, around 450-500 for Jam (or Zumba) and only about 260-300 for Pump  However, Pump apparently keeps your metabolism…

Hi from a fellow Aussie! I know you will benefit greatly from this site! The tracking makes it so easy and the support network is amazing. I joined a few months ago and wanted to lose approx 9kg, I've already lost 7.5kg and it has been so easy with the help of this site. Happy to be your friend and offer support if you…

Good on you! That has to be the ultimate NSV, how lovely  I think the bigger achievement is your love and acceptance of yourself (and of course snagging yourself a great catch in the process is a wonderful bonus!) All the best to you both!

Thanks so much everyone! Lots of great advice from you all. Cheers

Hey Babyworms, I'm from Australia - I live in Canberra and joined MFP last month and absolutely love it, I think I'm actually addicted to it!! You will get a lot of support on this site. I've found it to be very motivating - regardless of whether you have a little or a lot to lose. Happy to be an Aussie MFP for you!…

I'm 5'7, current weight is 143 (being Aussie we talk in kilos! - 65kg). First goal weight is 132 (60kg). Have been down to 123 (56kg) at absolute lowest weight a few years ago but that was too low for me and I couldn't maintain it for long ;-)

Absolutely fantastic and what an incentive for your wife! All the best to you both and I wish you a safe and speedy return from Afghanistan.

I have a chocolate flavoured protein shake with natural bran and psyllium. I also have a piece of toast with vegemite!!! YUM!! Very filling and quick and easy in the mornings! :-) I have a fairly low carb diet and, like you, got sick of eggs very quickly. You appreciate them more when you have them occasionally rather than…

Inspiring transformation, what an achievement. You should be so proud of your dedication - and it didn't take that long really!

Hi Britt, I only found out about this site earlier in the week after my friend told me how awesome it is! I've been using the food diary for the last 4 days and it is fantastic! I love it! I'm from Australia - it's very cold here (I live in Canberra - its averaging about -4 degrees at night!! eeek!) Hope its nice and warm…
