I didn't gain or lose any the whole time I was without MFP. I stopped using MFP early last year, but ate healthily until about fall, then ate whatever I wanted. I also exercised up until that point too. I'm back at it to make sure I'm getting enough protein and keeping good macros because I want to gain muscle tone. I…

Thanks! It's pretty huge to me as I'm such an impatient person :noway:

It certainly played a huge part. It helps me keep on track and visualize what I'm eating.

Thanks Dana! You too!

I would definitely increase the calorie goal if you're doing insanity. I finished that program and it's counterproductive to consistently eat so little. At your height/weight, I would AT LEAST start at 1350 for the first month, and increase to 1500 the second month. You can scale up or down from there depending on your…

You might want to change your ticker to reflect lbs instead of kgs :)

Im 26 as well and my weight loss goal was the same as yours. I've since added 10 more lbs to lose to get to my ultimate goal since Im so close to my initial goal. You can do it!

26 here. Similar situation minus the buff boyfriend. I took on my husband's bad eating habits and gained weight, then had a baby. I've lost a bit since I started and still have about 15 to go + toning. My husband is joining me this year :]

That would be me! I've lost a good bit healthily over the last couple years (pre/post baby) and feel off the wagon shortly after Halloween and gained a couple back. I've got about 10/15 left to lose.

A month old, maybe.

Neither in moderate amounts or in appropriate forms. i.e. healthy fats vs non-healthy fats and fruit sugars vs added/candy sugars
-
Meaning you're too fat to breathe through your nose because you don't get enough oxygen that way.

Chicken I weigh cooked. Steak I weigh raw (I like it med-rare).

KT tape and better shoes. I would take a short break before hopping back into exercise, though.

You can also try her Ripped in 30 DVD or 6 week 6 pack. I havent tried either (I did Insanity), but I have them and have heard good things!
-
Definitely. It helps to take before and after pictures and measurements, because looking in the mirror can really fool you. You may not be able to target fat, but you can reduce it over all. Pretty soon the belly will be all that's left!
-
Trust me, I know ALL about it. I just started my second round and while it doesn't seem like it's any easier, I know it is and I'm just pushing myself harder. I do know I take less breaks and can do the moves more properly now! Oh and you'll be cussing him out during month two, lol.

My loss is just now becoming more noticeable after 1 round of insanity. I've lost the "middle" weight first from my upper natural waist and not as much (yet!) from the bellybutton area. Maybe a couple inches in that area. Working on it! What sucks is that after you eat, as an apple shaped person it's MUCH more noticeable :(

I dont think she's far off, considering the smoothies she drinks are way higher in calories than she advertises on her website.

YOU ARE AWESOME

Every weekend, I eat things I want. I still lose weight and keep my sanity. You just have to have the willpower to not turn it into a habit again.

5'4'', 135lbs, up to 1650/day

Having the smart pop butter popcorn in the pantry kept me from eating the chips that were also in there! Maybe having the healthier options sitting right nest to the unhealthy (if you have to have them!) will help too.

I refuse to buy anything substantial until I get to goal weight. I want to be able to justify a shopping spree >:)

Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas for sure. Battlefield 3 is decent. FF13-2 isnt very linear, seeing as there's time jumps.

8 cups, more if you can possibly tolerate. Your body will adjust to the increase in water in a few days, so dont let the frequent bathroom trips put you off at first.
-
A 10 lb gain over a week or so is not accurate. And if it were, it would be almost entirely water weight.
-
Get a more accurate scale and drink lots more water.

Insanity is hard on your joints. Lots of jumping involved.
