The "Chicken - Meat only, roasted" entry in the database would be what I would go with.

Oohh yeah. They'll turn into calluses eventually, like kroc said. They won't hurt anymore unless your hands are sweaty and the bar slips and pulls the top layer of skin off. :D Chalk can help with that.

What are transverse abs?

Booze and butter make for a good recipe.

I thought this was a recipe thread. Nevermind.

Progress pictures and a measuring tape are a good way to keep track of how you're doing. The scale is too fickle to rely on. :p If you haven't done measurements or taken pictures, do it! You'll seriously be glad to have them. It's hard to not get bummed out by the scale, so it's nice to have another progress tracker.

Actually, heart rate monitors are really only good for steady-state cardio, so you're probably not burning as much as you think during lifting. Weight lifting can mask a loss with water retention, so keep that in mind when you weigh yourself. Just because the scale says you gained doesn't mean you actually gained fat. As…

In addition to smaller weight increases, you can do rep increases. Like if you get all 5x5 with the 45lb bar, but 50lbs is too much, you can increase your reps. Once you get to 5x8 at 45lbs, you increase to 50lbs and do 5x5. Just another work around. :)

If you're going to get chased by dinosaurs, you might as well be drunk.

What about nuts, oils, butter, avocado, that kind of thing? Adding these things to your day can help.

Too much fiber can stop you up if you don't have a decent fat intake to "grease" things up. How much fat do you eat per day?
-
It's Target for me. :) OP, what's your fat intake look like?

What is your calorie goal? How many pounds a week are you set to lose? With only 15, a half pound a week is the best way to go. How do you log your food? Measuring cups, food scale?

So, we're talking about poop in here?

I have one (that my company paid for). The brand is called Varidesk, it sits on top of your regular desk, and it is adjustable. I really like it a lot. I try to stand 4-5 hours during my 8 hour work period. I've found that I'm a lot less tired in the evening when I get home. Edit to add cons: The Varidesk takes up a lot of…

Bent over rows are fine. You can stack plates if you want to, or pull from the rack, like the other posters suggested. I, personally, didn't like the hassle of stacking the plates, so I did bent over rows until I moved to a gym that has bumper plates available.

You must have some epic bathroom experiences. Lol. I used to eat 11-13 servings of fruit and vegetables a day. It became a really expensive habit. I strive for 5 vegetables and 1 fruit servings a day, but usually end up with 4-5 servings total. Like others said, as long as you're getting your fats and proteins, you're…

Psychosomatic means it's all in your head. I know what you mean though. I have the same reaction when I try to eat Lima beans or any other yucky food.

My boss has done a couple of the short ones and really enjoyed them. I haven't tried it out yet, but plan to eventually.

Thanks for posting this!

Sounds good!

The person already knows they're gaining weight. Pointing it out to them is an a-hole thing to do, regardless of how close you are.

I post mine to my blog, but you could probably start a thread if you wanted to.
