  • dang! That was an awsome story, you are so very cool and have amazing courage. It would be soooo easy to just say screw it and eat yourself to death. It is crystal clear that you my friend are a fighter. Keep it up, you will be in those 12's in know time. I can't believe you actually brought a tear to my eye. Great job!!!!
  • I love a challange, count me in!
  • 45 pounds! Maybe you should be the one doing the motivating! That's really great! We all have bad days, it's how you recover that counts. You have come so far, don't throw it away on one rainy day. The sun is sure to come out again, and just get right back at it. Keep going, no matter what. When you think you have pushed…
  • I would say, just watch her. I have two teens, one eats ALL the time, and the other one like a bird. Both are very healthy. If she is working out, and not losing a bunch of weight, she might be eating more than you know. Just watch her, and monitor the food levels in the house, if you can. I know I went through 4 boxes of…

  • That is your only option.:ohwell:
  • Nope, it's probably not right. Maybe use a different scale. If you go to the gym, use there scale, the kind the Dr's office has, if they have one. Don't get caught up in weighing yourself so much. Do it once a week.
  • Howdy, I always do it weekly. Weight can change so much from day to day, you really wont get an accurate reading on your progress. Hope this helps

  • All posts thus far are correct. You need to put less on your plate, and eat slower, chew your food more. I know it sounds remedial, but it's true. Drinking water in between also helps. Weighing all your food is more for when you are ultra-serious. Pretty sure that's not the norm. But whatever helps.
  • Hello, the hardest thing to do is keep going when your not getting any results. You just want to say screw it and get a Big Mac. The best thing I found for that is totally change things up. I end up looking like a cracked out jac rabbit at the gym jumping from one machine to the other to free weights, then abbs. This will,…
  • Wow, that's amazing that your were able to lose all that weight. The last 30 will be hard, just just think about all you have been through. You can do it and will have lots of support here!
  • I am very sad for you ahd have heard this story many times. My own sister was very over weight and was made fun of her whole life because of it. She died of a heart attack at age 42! She was 4' 11" and weighed close to 300 pounds. No one in my family supported her or tried to help her lose the weight. You have come to the…
  • Hey man, feel the same way, go ahead and add me!
  • Hey Brian, feel free to add me, and ask me anything!

  • Hi there, well it sounds like you got step one out of the way, that is the hard part, really! Now it is time to make a plan, then work the plan. Seems simple right? Well if you do it right, it is. The key is to set realistic goals, don't get discouraged, and keep going no matter what. Everyone has set backs, everyone, just…
