  • Bump(sorry dont have time to reply in full but hoping this may knock it to top again so you can nab some advice)
  • Best advice I can offer is dont focus on what you could of done, how you could of eaten.Focus on today, and tomorrow, one day at a a time until you feel its a little more under your control. Each day you do well pat yourself on the back that you have succeeded. Each baby step is a new you and each time you start to feel…
  • Self esteem yes but also my outlook changes.Working out makes me more positive,i feel better about my day, dramas dont seem so bad,all over im calmer, more centred and happier.
  • This quote 'I have to own the fact I let him be that way'.Yes there are issues aside from the eating but what you bring into the house can pave the way toward bad eating. If you bring the crap into the house she will eat it.Baby steps tackling each issue with a good start changing what you buy.I can understand she will have…
  • Im in Nz and got mine off Exercise tv.I only have access to the net(middle of nowhere at moment so no department stores) so after looking at prices online I checked out exercise tv.I paid I think 10 dollars to buy it via download then popped it on a disc.Ive done the same with shred with weights, ripped in 30 and a heap of…
  • Im not entirely sure if its an Aussie brand but "Just Jeans' recently brought out a new range of jeans for woman of average size.Cant recall the exact name, like Levi Curve ID or Demi Curve. They are fantastic and my little sister brought a pair and they literally removed the saddlebags/muffin tops issue she has.Actual…
  • Soup cans can be great weights,chairs/furniture can become items to help you.Water bottles filled with water also used as hand weights.I recently came across this site when looking for exercises for my ball, which I brought cheap as from local store, http://exercise.about.com (this site seems to have covered a fair bit,i…
  • Well done:)Doing a fantastic job and sounds to me like what your doing is working very well!
  • Bent over rows, hammer curls, lateral shoulder raise, bicep curls, leg press, squats, side split lunges, tricep extensiontricep kickback, theres a heap,i use one with my wii, started at loose one now using one that is very thick and hard to do(quite painful).
  • On a side note when I change my exercise I change my calories too.I eat my exercise regardless of calories burned.I find 1200 for me isnt enough,I cant stay around that mark, lowest I think Ive ever had is around 1400,add my exercise somedays and the number is significant.
  • I see you wrote 'only 5'.Gotta say 'wow Ive Lost 5!!!'Try to adjust your thinking,it takes time, focus on the small goals and do not obsess over the number you wish to lose until you are in a routine and your fitness is up.Baby steps:)Take each goal and make it small enough so you can see constant results.10 mins is 10…
  • Or if you use a hrm like I do,I simply find the correct exercise 'strength training' etc, enter my own time, then I enter my hrm correct calories burned.I find the calories can be a little off some-days so I wear my monitor every time I do a workout and enter the numbers accordingly.
  • Mix it up,change your exercise program and shock your body.I find if i shock it to the point of actually doing a workout that makes me sore does the trick.I do it every time I get stuck.I forgot what being sore was, like I know my workouts hurt but im not sore after doing them for a few weeks or months.Once I reach the…
  • Sit him down, have a chat.I had to do it.Men dont really think like women,he may feel hes trying to help, that's his way of showing you he cares and also he may be trying to motivate you and thinks hes doing it well. You need to sit him down, explain how his comments are not helping you and explain EXACTLY what you need from…
  • After a year overseas and working very hard to lose weight I went back to oz to visit my family. My fathers first comment 'you look sick, your too thin'.I have a few kilos left and I was to that point very proud of myself to be where I was weight wise.I was upset and for awhile wondered if Id taken it too far but then bub…
  • Just had a 2 week break on my weigh-in but i generally do once a week. Each month I do all my measurements,ie,belly, chest, waist, legs, arms, the lot.It keeps me motivated as my weight fluctuates quite a bit but when my cms go down its a victory.
  • This.Is what I have done to work on the last 2 kilos I have left.Ive gone from straight cardio,to a program of weight training mixed in with 20 mins of my bike/elliptical (one min busting my *kitten*/30 secs recover).Bout 6 months back I went from the weights to the initial cardio now ive gone back.I do it everytime i hit…
  • 2 years odd to lose 15 kilos, now stuck or have been for roughly 3 months swinging between 58 and 59 kilos. My goal is around 57,keep getting close, fall off the wagon, scoff, slack off on exercise then hop back on start over:)The changes in my body last 3 to 4 months have been more noticeable(if that makes sense)than dropping…
  • I still after 2 or so years I visit my scale everyday,I think now its more from curiosity though.I do my official weigh in for mfp every week and log it regardless of gain or loss, plus ive added all the measurements I would normally have done to the mfp section incl:belly, butt, arms, thighs, the lot.The measurements more so…
  • Dead on with this.Even though you feel your the same person perhaps you are not?Different attitudes towards your health, lifestyle, food the lot:)Grats on your success btw, keep it up!
  • I swapped out my multi-vitamin for a protein powder that had almost identical stuff in it.What you can add to make the shakes is endless, frozen fruit, yoghurt, cottage cheese, cream cheese, fresh fruit.Solved my issues of ginormous tablets most days which id forget to take.Just a thought:)
  • Same got walk(cardio) and walk (sculpt and tone),30 ds and shred with weights, plus also couple of bootcamp ones from here.Cost was like from 2.99 or so.I then converted to dvd and they have become my rainy day workouts.
  • For years I was told my headaches and migraines were hormonal. After pushing for more advice I was given ctscan and an mri only to find I had been born with an abnormal brain. Please see your doctor asap, exhaust all possibilities with them, once thats done,Id say look into other issues that may be causing them.Im not saying…
  • I recently had a raging uti that I couldn't get rid of.I stuck with my workouts and that feeling of needing to go to the dunny made it very uncomfortable and painful to finish them.I tried the cranberry juice and other herbal remedies before heading to the doctor.2 extra strong courses of antibiotics knocked it on the head…
  • Oh yea, nice rounded c to almost small b,shattered in all honesty.I know alot was fat but still havent come to terms with the loss;) Lost around 15 kilos>the weight has been an all over loss, great deal from my waist, upper body, hips etc.I still have excess on my saddlebags, thighs and belly.Seems to be all thats left.I didnt…
  • I found a site telling me how to calculate the amount of water I should drink a day.I get alot of headaches and I think most of the time Im severely dehydrated even though Im not thirsty. The numbers I found were your weight divided by 0.024.For me thats around 2.4 lt a day.I tried that yesterday for the first time, drank…
  • Im down to my last 2 to 3 kgs after quite a few years work.I look in the mirror and I see the same areas...saddlebags,muffin tops:)To me,I see the exact same issues I had when I was fatter.I overlook the arms,no double chin, the overall width Ive lost and I cannot seem to get past the BITS.Is very strange and now Im at the…
