You mean there is another use for them!?! lol
  • you can stand on them and do bent over rows (they aren't arm curls) :)
you can also sit with your feet out in front of you, put them around your toes, and push down with your toes (i dont know what these are called.
lay on your back, knees bent toward your chest, put around you feet and hold taught. do a "leg press" type move...

    just a couple ideas

There are a ton of them. I use them all the time and love them. I suggest you go to http://www.bodylastics.com and check out the site for ideas. Then go to liveexercise.com for lots of videos on using strength bands. Of course, there are a lot on youtube too. And, there are lots of books.

I can do leg curls and any exercise that can be done with dumbbells or machines and get excellent results.

Hold them at shoulder level and do squats, add a punch and there you go!

my trainer has one of these and I use it with her all the time.
One thin is to stand on the middle with feet shoulder width apart and hold the band up taught. then do side-steps in one direction across the room. you should feel it in your hamstrings and glutes.

try looking up some pilates exercises too. I know some of those use a band a lot. I have a dvd that uses them but I cant think of those off the top of my head since I haven't done the dvd in a while.

    good luck!!!!

Tons of stuff with these doing Turbo Fire. You can balance on your bum with the bands wrapped around the arches of your shoes and through the inside, so you're holding the handles against your chest - then lower your torso / back to the floor while pushing your legs up and forward. There's another version of this where you do rowing with your arms too, and one where you do bicycle crunches + bicep curls.

I use a door anchor, or add them to a bar to add tapered resistance.
