I've always struggled with gaining weight from running and I am not on a low cal diet like you.

Start exercising and you will have more calories to eat. Drink a lot of water to fill you up. Make sure you are getting enough sleep. Eat more fruits and veggies to fill up on, and soups are pretty filling as well.

I suggest you up your calories during the week so that when the weekend comes you dont feel deprived and ready to binge. I had depression and anxiety disorder induced OCD for a while. I would check our locks up to ten times a night before bed. I am now on Wellbutrin for the depression and it has almost deminished all of my OCD tendencies.

I have to respectfully disagree. In my opinion one does not simply "decide to stop whallowing in self pity". Depression is a disease just like any other disease. If you REALLY think you will need them later, or might, then perhaps bag some of the best pieces up and ask a family member or friend to hold on to them for you. The humiliation of not only asking them to hold them, but then asking for them back when you "need" them would be enough motivation for me to never need them…

I love how my brother always points to my artificially sweeten drinks and says "You know those will give you cancer" as he puffs on his cigarettes. (he's being facetious, of course) We all have vices and I think of all the vices in the world, diet coke is pretty harmless.
