  • according to the calorie calculator I should be able to eat 2100 calories a day and maintain as long as I'm still exercising. Start weight before MFP 217 current weight 175 goal 160
  • you shouldn't be eating less than 1200 a day, especially of your exercising. At those low levels, your body thinks it is starving and it WILL hold on to the weight. I think you will find that you will lose weight quicker at the higher caloric intake. Just eat 5 to 6 small meals a day. You will be fine.
  • I started out with the goal of 170. I was 217 when I started working on losing the weight and that was 2 months before finding this site. I was 196 when I started on here. I have dropped my goal to 160 because that gives me some wiggle room when I go back to normal healthy eating habits.

  • I went through the same thing recently. Not sure what I did differently but I'm sticking to the same amount of calories and have increased my protein and cardio. It took about 3 weeks before I broke through the plateau but now I'm dropping 1.5 pounds every 4 days. Not sure if this is helpful to you.
