I UNDERSTAND! I promise I get it. I was bulimic for 4 years and then anorexic later on but oh my goodness I feel ya about the bingeing. It's uncontrollable and makes you feel so high while you're doing it. But afterwards......you just want to die.

PROTEIN!!!!! lol. I customized my MFP goals. I set my protein to 40%, carbs to 40%, and fat to 20%. Actually I started out with 50% protein, 30% carbs, and 20% fat but I just recently started incorporating more carbs in order to keep my energy level up for working out and lifting. Have you thought about maybe purchasing a HRM? It's so much easier that way because you know exactly how many calories you personally burned in that amount of time and you can add that workout to the database. That's what I've done. Hope I helped :o)

Are you actually starving or just can't help but eat? Sometimes we eat for other reasons than being actually hungry. If you are hungry do you eat meals throughout the day at all?

I don't go to the gym at all. You should check out www.beachbody.com and look at some of the workout programs. I'm doing P90X now and loving it. You can workout in the privacy of your own home :o)

The limit for protein that MFP defaults to is actually really low so I wouldn't worry about going over. I actually customized mine to 40% protein, 40% carbs, and 20% fats.

I love me some ranch dressing as well but the calories....ugh. Have you tried Marie's Yogurt ranch dressing? It tastes just like regular Hidden Valley ranch! It is delicious! You can usually find it in the produce section since it needs to be refrigerated, Breakfast? A big bowl of oatmeal! One of my favorites!

Everything in moderation! I say go for it just not overboard as long as you stay within your calories. If you feel deprived you may end up bingeing (sp?) at some point.
