I use "Imapmyrun.com" It talks to you every km/ml tells you your pace and speed, and you can challenge friends/routes, it also shows you the route at the end, i wouldn't run without it, its invaluable. All the others mentioned above may also do this or may even be better, but i haven't tried them. download them all, see…

if its not the batteries, then try this really wet/soak the 2 pads right before use. make sure the strap is really tight. Wash in hot water after your workout, really scrub the pads.

Yeah that is correct, sorry i meant to say manual input, i have a low resting heart rate so it totally throws the Polar own Cal system out of sync, so i neede to input my vo2 manually. Either way most of the polar range seem pretty good.

bumping for later

i would recomend the ft40 over the ft4/7 , as it has a vo2 max input.

Bump im gonna try this next week.

Well done everyone, keep it up.

Thanks I have set my vo2 to 42. 25% down as i feel that is more realistic. But i can also run a 5k in under 6:00 m/k which i dont consider to be a fast time, so maybe i should just put it back to 56 and live with the results. I only bought the hrm to allow accurate callorie counting, and to try and stay in the different…
