  • Bahahaha, my rule of thumb is that every woman should date an Italian at least once, if you know what I mean. ;)
  • Bahahaha, I'm pretty sure an inability to shop at Lane Bryant is not a sadface fact. =P
  • I'd settle for a DD, but the thought of a D cup puts me in a happy place, thanks. :P I do have a Lane Bryant near me and I can find good 38DDD bras at their online store, though the ones in my size are few and far between if I physically walk into the store and the clerks usually try to convince me that a 40DD is exactly…
  • I like to weigh myself every day (sometimes more than once if I've lost some weight and am enjoying staring at the lower number!). It helps my short attention span remember that I'm trying to pay attention to my weight. If I'm over yesterday's weight by a pound or two, I will take a moment to stop and consider reasons why:…
  • So many great ideas! (Those laptop lunch boxes are super cute!) Sounds like it may, in fact, behoove me to get the BJ's membership. I mostly shop at the produce market by my house, which is great for eggs, bread, and fruits, but their veggies can be hit or miss and it's expensive to buy what I want when I do actually go to…
  • I would avoid the Jillian Michaels kettlebell routines if you want the correct form to follow for them. She changes the names of the classic moves and doesn't apply her muscles in the way the kettlebells were designed for. The American Kettlebell Club (AKC) suggests 8kg (18 lb) for a healthy female as a starting weight,…
  • Should have gotten your coworkers doing it with you!! I was finished my Thursday ones while I was stopping for a quick, late night visit with some of my sisters and got two of them to join in. :P
  • Well, I woke up Saturday morning with a sore throat that was full-fledged nasal congestion by the afternoon. I am the most pathetic sick girl ever. I spent the weekend moping around the house and having my boyfriend wait on me (he's such a saint sometimes, I swear) and NOT doing lunges or squats. I laid in bed Sunday…
  • Yesterday was my first "failed" day, too. I only did 40 of each. I blame the last missing 20 on being at the bar too late. xD Weirdly enough, I was thinking that maybe the first day or two would ache and then my body would adjust, like it normally does to exercise. But doing the 60 a day (plus the kettlebell reps I did…
  • Last night, my sister and her boyfriend ended up coming over while I was working, so by the time I was home, they were ready for a movie, beer, and Portuguese food (clearly, my sister's boyfriend has been trying to sabotage me!). I went to bed and then realized I hadn't done my last sets of squats and lunges. XD I hopped…
  • Haven't heard that, but I have heard that lotions with lactic acid are good. I'll have to look into that! Currently, I use DERMAdoctor KP Duty scrub every now and again and moisturize twice daily with Amlactin. The water seems to kick up the effectiveness of both, though. I'm hoping that helps not only the bumps, but the…
  • Oh, good!! Hopefully I'm NOT hallucinating that my KP looks better because of the water and will continue to fade away as I continue to saturate myself with water every day. xD
  • Ugh! I'm sure he could. Despite the smoking, drinking, and, like, 0% body fat, he's in really, really good shape. Half done for today!
  • I just finished mine, yes!! Wasn't so bad for me, since my current exercise of choice is kettlebell and before that, step aerobics. I also split it into three separate sessions during the day, so maybe that's cheating a little! My boyfriend said I needed to do 60 in a row of each before he would be impressed. :P
  • Hah! I love a challenge.
  • Yeah, watch out for using Jillian Michaels as a model for proper form. She does NOT use the kettlebell correctly and changes the names of the classic moves for no discernible reason.
