Fabulous job! You look terrific...and happy!

I would recommend adding more whole grain carbs in. Your carbs may be too low, which are increasing cortisol levels in your body leading to weight gain. http://www.precisionnutrition.com/low-carb-diets Very interesting article I found from a reputable source. I have since added healthy carbs back into my diet as I realized…

Best fix ever, start googling for clothes and shoes. Problem solved lol.

Can you pre-plan what you will get before you go out? If you can choose a "healthier" option at each of these restaurants and pre-log it, I've found that helps me. That way I know what I need to order and know that it fits in to my calories for the day. Try not to stress about it. The stress will make your body resistant…

I spray Windex on my leftover food so I don't sit there and nibble...kidding....but seriously, this might work?!

Try a Gentle Leader. Works wonders.

Diagnosed February 2013. I'm 27 years old. Weight loss is slower this go round, but I'm down 26 pounds. It's possible. Eat at a deficit, and exercise....don't get discouraged. It will come off!

Weight gain has never been a side effect for me....but high blood pressure, insulin resistance, interstitial cystitis, and lactation (currently happening on the new one I'm on) are side effects I've all experienced. Estrogen can certainly cause weight gain. Several birth controls can also cause carbohydrate intolerance and…

Instead of asking MFP.....ask your girlfriend. In a non-accusatory way, have a discussion with her. There's always more to a story. And if she doesn't give you a reason, and continues to do it after you've come to an understanding.....find a new girlfriend. And generalizing is a NO GO. I would kill for a man who liked to…

LOVE THOSE THINGS! Best alternative to pop I've found to date. If you have issues with Splenda, I just go with carbonated water and fresh fruit. The mio drops (or knock offs) with the carbonated water are good too. Just be careful about the carbonated water...there are some brands that contain sodium...others do not. Check…

Yes. Just had something similar. I was averaging about 5. to .75 lbs a week. For someone who is hypothyroid, I consider this a great success. Just this past week, I dropped 4.5 pounds, and for the month, over 15. I call it finding the "sweet spot." That perfect balance your body finds of calorie intake and exercise…

He probably has a small d#$% and feels he needs to bring everyone else down so he won't feel so bad about his own lack of confidence. Keep your chin up. Best thing you can do is to keep going and show him that he's dead wrong. And remember, your journey to health is about you....but doesn't mean you cant use his comments…

Body Fortress Chocolate Peanut Butter Protein powder-1 scoop 1/2 cup skim milk 1 tbsp. peanut butter 1 tbsp. Hershey's unsweetened cocoa powder About 285 calories...you can drop the peanut butter and replace the skim milk for fewer calories. But overall great taste. Throw some ice in it to make it more like an ice cream…

I went wheat free because I was having headaches and generally felt like crap every time I had a big meal that contained wheat. Probably part carb, but since going wheat free, I feel 100% better. Better energy, better workouts, and the weight has finally started to come off. I don't intend to eat wheat free forever, but I…

Either commando or a lace thong. I don't need granny panties adding another layer...I sweat enough.

I don't like it unless it cranks up to 11 and I can bang my head to it :glasses:

Welcome back :)

when my doctor told me I had consistently high blood pressure, I was pre-diabetic, and my dad had to have heart surgery at age 72 (this is after my uncle died of heart failure at 74). It was a wake-up call for me. Wish it was for my dad too.

1. Up your calories for a few days....I take a break from logging and eat at my TDEE for a couple days and then drop back down to TDEE-20%. 2. UP your exercise and change what you do. Try HIIT intervals-5 -10 of them per exercise period (I like 1:00 min @3mph and 1:00min @5.5mph for 8 intervals on the treadmill). If you…

According to my registered dietitian, she thinks this to be true. I inwardly winced when I heard her say this when I say her Monday morning. Le sigh.

What qualifications do you possess? Why should I pick you among my list of applicants? Can you be available 7 days a week? I am quite a demanding lover ;)

My current one actually isn't working out so well....too flaky....so yes ;)

I did my own research. It made me chuckle to know that I was more up on dieting and nutrition than she was. I plan on only going to her to get my RMR tested. Past that....I'll stick with what's working.

Yes, that is EXACTLY what I plan to do-I've had great success with ignoring what she said thus far. 1. Lifting is the way to go 2. You can't build muscle at a deficit (at least not long term) 3. I still do cardio and don't have plans to eliminate it...but I certainly wont eliminate or reduce my lifting 4. I haven't had a…

I just found a f*^% buddy...worked wonders for me hahaha
