I, as well, eat what I am craving. This is ok once in a while in moderation for me. I find if I don't " bite the bullet" I will break down and gorge myself on something.

Tony horton ten minute trainer is intense, but nice because each workout it about 10 minutes long so you can do 1, 2, or 3. They are short but you'll sweat.

I agree.. Hebrew National 97% fat free beef hot dogs... they don't set you back real hard on the calories, but they taste very good in my opinion.

I ordered P90X over last weekend should be here any day now..... I'm pumped... Can't wait to push play

Today was the first official day of Ten Minute Trainer for me. I did Cardio and Lower Body. 20 minutes and a very good workout I feel. There was some duplicate moves between the 2 workouts, but overall I feel good about the system. I think between this and a proper diet you'll see results.

Got the Ten Minute Trainer in the mail yesterday. Needless to say I torn it open like a child on Christmas and tossed the DVD in and went to work with one workout. It does give youa workout for ten minutes. I could see how you'd get a great workout by stacking 2 or 3 together.

I'll keep you posted how it is going. I'm looking forward to doing it. Should arrive here on Wednesday.... sounds like a good post turkey day mission.

I have read the book and I would recommend it to anyone. it's not a diet per se. This "diet" revolves around 12 groups of food. You try to work as many of these foods into each meal and snack. I followed the book quite closely for a while and sawsome really good results. For those who don't know about the author David…

There's a few... Grey's Anatomy (Some people question my masculinity, my wife watches it therefore I watch it) Bones Two and a Half Men (I get some man points there don't I?) The Simpsons

I am doing this because my wife had lost 70lb and she looks great. Now I'd like to get rid of the extra I am carrying... I'm jealous.

I kind of fell off the wagon here the last few months. All is not completely lost however I have only put on 5lbs. I'm real happy about that, but time to buckle down again and loose the rest of the weight. s

You could try a ball cap. Or if working outside in the northeast getting to be time for a knit hat. Not a lady, but I chimed in anyway

I know you're not going to want to hear this, but you cannot spot reduce. I am not saying you shouldn't work your abs, just don't count on doing crunches and getting thinner around the waist. The only way is diet and exercise. I have found the cardio and interval traing worked best for me... also weight training is good…

Don't feel bad about it. I find eating over a day here or there bumps up the burn. I used to do it on purpose to help get through a plateau. You body may think "what just happened here, I better burn it all off" Plus I find it keeps me from doing it as often by accident. I am always a firm believer in I'd rather cheat on…

Started a few days late as I had to wait for it to come in. I dragged myself out of bed this morning and did it. WOW! My arms and legs are twitching just typing this.

I will kind of channel what some others have said. I love hiking. It is walking to a degree. I love getting out on a trail and getting away from everything. I also enjoy the fact that you have a great variety in terrain. On some trails in my area you can start walking along a lake and shortly after have a killer hill and…

I have completed some life goals and still have a bunch (probably like everyone else) My future goals are: -See the Grand Canyon -Get my MBA -Find a career I have a job, but I want a career that I love doing  -Tell my wife I love her every day (IMHO you can never tell the ones you love enough.... there will come a…

I ordered it from E-bay. Not here yet, but I'll be on board as soon as I get it. Should be tomorrow or thursday. My goal is 5lbs by the end of october. I plan on doing this workout daily while keeping my diet and walking(3 days).

I appreciate everyone's feedback. I do understand that people are much more likely to complain when things go wrong. I'm going to order it in a few weeks. Just need to get a few more $$$ together. I have been looking for secondhand ones, but I'm just not really comfortable unless I can find a new set. I also decide…

I have decided to get Power 90. When I was doing some research however, I had found quite a few websites beating beachbody.com up over customer service issues for example getting charged for things they didn't order, monthly fees and such. I know quite a few of you guys and gals use beachbody products and I was wondering…

I step on the scale daily, but weigh myself weekly. As funny as it sounds I guess I technically weight myself every day, but I only record it every Monday after work. I choose to "weigh in" on Monday because, for me, it curbs my weekend binges because I know on Monday I am writing it down. My opinion do what works for you.…

There is also an quote I have seen posted many times that I use to keep me motivated... "You didn't put the weight and inches on overnight, so they won't come off over night" Not trying to sound rude, just what keeps me motivated. Just keep with it results will come.

I'm with you ( a man losing weight). I found a few of my male co-workers were also trying so we kind of use each other for ideas and support. While not "fashionable" we found our clique. I also feel more women are open about losing weight, while the "macho male ego" would rather have us doing it without talking about it.…

My biggest change was when I went from regular soda to diet (I know still not good, but I love the sauce  ). Now if I drink a regular soda I get sick and can't believe how sweet it is.

I generally choose a dry red wine. Other that relaxing a bit and enjoying the taste  There have been studies showing there are also some other health effect. i.e. lower blood presure, lower cancer risk. BUT the benefits stop at 1-2 servings (not bottles  ) If I have to go to a bar to meet friends, I generally…

Take this for what it is worth as it is just my opinion. I would never put off seeing a doctor for fear of being scolded for gaining weight. As was stated before, if this is a problem for you find another doctor. I feel you are putting yourself at risk by procrastinating. Please, you need to take care of your body, you…

Whew! my wife and I had just gotten back from vacation and I was pleasantly suprised while weighing myself. I only gained 1.5lb for the week. That's after dining out every meal including Pizza Hut bacon pizza 2 nights. Time to buckle down again.

If you are really concerned about it, you could add some almonds or walnuts to your oatmeal (they're higher in calories than some foods, but also have some very beneficial nutrients.) Or you could eat some more fruits and veggies (peanut butter and celery) My opinion is listen to your body. Just my $.02
