Quinoa is also a great filler/thickener for stews. I added 1/2 cup red quinoa to a big pot (~2.5 quarts) of brothy chicken-vegetable soup last night. Try your local library as well - depending on their collection, they may have lots of DVDs that you can "test drive" before you buy. Also lots of books with exercise and health tips. I would also recommend some yoga for flexibility, strength and stress relief. This too you can find videos on YouTube, at the library, etc.…
