I have a Polar F6 that is water resistant up to 50m and I wear it to swim laps. When I use it to run or do out of the water cardio and it gets yucky I wash it with warm soapy water, sometimes I have to use a toothpick to clean out the grooves...disgusting but it works! You can check out the Polar website as well for…

My fave snack is raw almonds, string cheese, and a piece of fruit...filling and yummy! Of course, if you drink a big glass of water with it you will be quite full! :drinker:

I have seen a lot of people on here use oatmeal in their smoothies/shakes. Stupid question, but are you using uncooked oatmeal? That would be a great addition to a breakfast smoothie/shake.

In addition to going back to your healthy eating w/o beating yourself up,make sure you DRINK YOUR WATER...it will really make a huge diference (maybe a little extra too). We all deserve a "day off" now and then!:flowerforyou:

I have substituted 1 tsp soy sauce (reduced sodium) for the tahini paste and I can't tell the difference..I make it all the time as well, I loved dipping all colored peppers in it!

One of my all time favorite!! On the grill: in a foil packet layer fish with fresh squeezed lime juice and any other seasoning, top with fresh or frozen veggies, fold up packet and grill until flaky. In the oven: in an 11 x 13 pyrex layer brown uncooked instant rice, fish with lime juice & seasonings (can drizzle with a…

I agree...terribly rude. I would never have the nerve to say something like that to anyone, I only offer info when asked. Don't let other people's ignorance ruin your day, great job so far!:flowerforyou:

Nope... I don't count natural sugars, I actually deduct them from my total sugar count each day.

I was a huge addict but haven't even had a sip since January. The first 2 weeks were pretty bad-headaches, grumpy, tired...but I gradually began to feel better and was losing weight in the process (working out, eating healthy, lots of water) so that kept me motivated. I think it would have been so much worse if I had…

yummmm...trying this today!

My variation on this is spinach leaves, sliced raw almonds, sliced strawberries, reduced sugar poppyseed dressing. I am going to try yours though too - love the madarin orange/blue cheese combo!!

Black bean brownies....no flour, so good, and you can't taste the black beans (even the kids were fooled). Amazing Black Bean Brownie RecipeFor those of you who have a hard time tracking down agave nectar (which is becoming much more readily available) substitute honey 1:1 for the agave nectar. Store these brownies in the…

Totally agree....it is hard work! Shopping, planning meals, preparing the meals, eating right, logging it all in, keeping track of calories burned, what to eat back, weights for toning, cardio for burning, drinking all our water, remembering to take vitamins...oh yeah, then there is taking care of the kids, house, hubby,…

My favorite time to eat it is in the summer. I take fresh tomatoes from the garden, add italian seasoning and a little bit of balsalmic vinegar and maybe a drop or two of olive oil, then mix that into the cottage cheese. SO yummy......also w/a side of wheat crackers.
-
Stupid question....do they make whole wheat bread crumbs???? I guess I could make my own....hmmm...something for me to research!! Sounds great - I always have a TON of zuchini from our garden in the summer.
