TLS?? You look awesome! Very inspiring -Thanks for sharing! [/quote] Thinner Leaner Stronger by Mike Matthews It's an amazing book and program with a journal you can order.

I did TLS for a whole year. I'm on my second book. I fell off a bit with my diet and I've been trying to get back on board. His macros were sets for too low in fat for me but the calories were good for a cut.

I put my husband's stinking socks in the garbage can. I hid them deep. They were terrible and had to be dealt with. It made me giggle.

I joined a really fun and inexpensive support group called TOPS. Look up the website for a meeting near you. There are weekly weigh in, games and challenges. They dont promote any type of diet. They support you in whatever you are doing. Overall, weight loss is calories burned need to be more then your consume. Be…

Try to be positive and make small changes to your day to day life. Don't be hard on yourself, we all need support and sometimes many restarts. :) :)

https://www.bodybuilding.com/content/powerful_workout_exercises.html This a good article talking about the benefits of compounds lifts. There are a gob of videos that can teach you about form. Just keep the weight light until you master the form and then go from there. Put on headphones and head over to the free weights…

If you are lifting and you are looking smaller then you are not losing muscle -- the scale is goofy. I would stay the course, possibly reduce overall calorie intake by 200 hundred or so. You only need .8 grams of protein per pound of current weight in order to grow muscle.

I had a trainer two times a week for about six months. I made a lot of strength gains and build muscle real well but I could not keep my eating habits in check and it ended up being a bit of a waste just because of that. I blame myself for not adhering to the macros that she set for me.

A boyfriend of mine was filing his nails onto a kitchen towel. I looked twice like, filing??? Really? I'll get you some clippers, barf. Then I noticed it was my dish towel and I was like ok got to go.

Thank you. I think I will continue eating on the low end of maintenance and try to reduce my BF until maybe 18% and then reassess my legs. I have to realize that I can't pout and throw in the towel. If I can't hack doing a legit cut then slow and steady is my option.

Just FYI: I am following the Thinner Leaner Stronger five day split program but I have added in an extra leg day since it only had one leg day. Thinner Leaner Stronger is from Mike Matthews and focuses on compound movements and progressive overload basically.

When I have done cutting calories for a while in the past I find that I spoil the cut by overeating one day a week which negates the deficit from the past several days. I have a lot of discipline and control but minor errors can spoil a cut quickly. Here are a few pictures so you can see that my arms have started to build…

It's going to take time, that is probably the reality of it. I can feel myself getting discouraged. All day long I see before and after's posted and after a while it starts to weigh on me. I need to step back and remember that I enjoy the journey.

You've lost 144 lbs, that's inspiring, keep up the hard work.

I love my sensor. I definitely haven't ran five days a week. I guess I was a little ambitious at first. I am trying to run the 5 k several times a week. Running in the evening sounds kind a dangerous. Are you able to run in the morning or at a community track?

Awesome! Your looking hot. Hard work pays off. - Leslie
