I've been into smoothies and oatmeal lately. I'm in love with the pumpkin praline instant oatmeal from Trader Joe's. I like to add 1/2 an apple, cut up into tiny pieces, into the bowl before I cook the oatmeal. The apples soften and sweeten while the oatmeal cooks. Checking in - today's weight is 161.4. No change. I really need to be more dilligent with my tracking - I do well during the day but then it goes downhill at night once I get home from work.

Can anyone recommend a good way to cut spaghetti squash in half (lengthwise)? I attempted to do it with a chef's night tonight, and it literally took 20 minutes and was rather scary. Wrong knife?

This is fantastic advice - I had never considered looking at things from this perspective. It will help me avoid things like what happened last night, wherein I ate a bunch of things I didn't need after dinner, for no real reason. Not the best way to start off this week's challenge, but I guess I can only go up from here!

Thanks - I am really struggling with it! I think I also eat too much at dinner - not so great with the portion sizes for recipes that I make up. I'll let you know if I come up with anything that helps. Sometimes I nibble on frozen grapes and that works to an extent.
