  • It really depends on you and how you feel on a given morning. If you are feeling like you do not have enough energy to get through your workout, eat! Make sure it's a snack, not a big breakfast, and try to stay away from sugar (low sugar meal replacement shakes work great). If you don't eat, you do want to at least drink…

  • From the following article: http://www.healthcastle.com/nutrition-myths.shtml It is true that some studies have linked red meat with increased risk of heart disease, partly due to the saturated fat content. In fact, even chicken can contain as much saturated fat as lean cuts of beef or pork. For instance, a serving of…
  • Nice tip! I'm sure I'll hit a point where I need to do this so that's a good way to make it easy.
  • Could be many reasons. How is your diet? If you aren't fueling your body properly it can really affect your workouts. Are you over exercising? It's good to push the limit but there is such a thing as too much exercise? Are you drinking enough water? Exhaustion can be a symptom of dehydration.
  • Been there many times, in fact I'm on Day 5 again. Feel free to add me if you are looking for encouragement / motivation.
  • I never thought to check netflix for workouts. Thanks for the tip!

  • I'm not much of a runner (high impact on bad knees) but I just blogged about another issue to watch out for: shin splints. Hopefully the stretches and exercises I mention can help you avoid it: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/blog/fldillon/view/shin-splints-the-rogue-diet-killer-127673

  • Our bodies are strange. There are lots of reasons that you could be hitting a sticking point. Believe it or not, your body will adjust to your caloric intake. If you have been eating 1200 calories steady for a period of time, your metabolism adjusts to keep your weight steady. The body doesn't like change and it will fight…

  • Wow, thanks for all of the replies and friend requests. I wish the site allowed me to type responses to some of the great comments left. It was pretty hard for me to type those words, but looking at them now and reading all the responses I'm more convinced than ever that I need to treat this like an addiction and look to…
