My resting is 59. I'm 40 5'8 220lb When it's working right even if I walk on the treadmill at 4.5 mph it barely gets to 125/130. But this constant going up to 140-160 while walking slow is nuts.

Thanks for the input!!!

Photos seem same to me. I only measured my waist. One week it's down and next week it's same as before. I use a Fitbit to gauge my tdee and eat under everyday. Lift has been 2 days upper and 2 days lower. I've gotten heavier every month but nothing big. 45lb clean and press and bent over rows, 20lb Dumbbells presses,…

Lots of Chicken and ground sirloin, egg whites, 1 protein shake a day. Once a week I'll have a steak. I home cook 5-6 nights a week so usually some dish with chicken, pork tonight loin or sirloin steak. some nights we have omelettes for dinner. 30% protein for me is like 140- 160 g a day. Depending on if it's a work out…

Well I got on the scale again to see if last weeks gain was a fluke and I'm up another pound. At a 15% deficit. May try lowering my sugar a little bit this week. It's hard to eat 22 to 2400 cal of super healthy food so I have been eating cliff protein builder bar twice a day. Helps me get my protein in as well. I have been…

I have a desk job too. I got one of these pedal things for underneath my desk but not one of those cheap ones that move around everywhere. I have to move my arm a little bit for it to register my steps but it definitely gets my heart rate up when I turned the resistance up. I can get an extra 2 to 4000 steps a day if I…

I signed up!!! I'm going on vacation in a month so hopefully I can still participate.

The step count seems to be pretty accurate. I have a Fitbit HR. The heart rate is not always accurate sometimes it's not on and sometimes it's too high. But it also does not take into account my weightlifting four days a week. I was hoping it all somehow evened out. I can't find where to change my stride on my fit bit app.…

My reset last year was adding back calories slowly. I used my fitbit though as a gauge for my TDEE. It changes daily. Once I stopped gaining and was steady a few months I decided to lift more consistently and frequently and started a tiny cut. I am trusting this process. I know it will be slow. Some days are so great. It’s…

The 7 pound gain is just since June I gained 10 pounds during my reset last yr. I do hit my protein macros 90% of the time. My water is good too. I have been taking progress pic and noticed a bit of a difference but not this month. I'm going to weigh myself again in a few days because maybe I was up a little from it being…

Thanks guys!! Looking into a better grip and chalk. I only started using the gloves because I thought it would help the pinching stop.
-
I was lifting without gloves and getting them so I tried to go it's hoping it would help I have not tried chalk though!

So much great advice!!! And yes I'm the only one not grouchy from always being satisfied! In time my body will show the results!!! Not giving up!!!
-
So true. I'm pretty strong willed so I'm not going to give up. Hard to drown out the negativity. There is a girl who joined that profile place last year. She's lost 50 lbs but she's only eating like 900-1100 calories a day and doing cardio like a maniac. But.... She's not sleeping and she's grouchy a lot. At least I'm not…

ever since starting a reset and now started lifting consistently I have not lost any weight in 9 months. So everyone assumes I've fallen off the wagon. While everyone around me is losing lots on their shakeolgy, weight watches, LCHF etc.... Trying to give me advice (even though I've lost close to 100lbs but since it's been…

Thanks guys!!!! That's why I invested in a good pedal machine under my desk. I figured all the NEAT would add up. I don't log it as exercise since I wear my Fitbit. Sometimes if it's slow at work I'll get to pedaling and my heart rate will actually get up pretty good!!!
-
That's good to know! It does have a heart rate monitor. I hope it is accurate because after weight lifting I was starving and had 2600 calories that day!! Didn't even feel guilty!!!

Bumping!

Yes to all of this!!!! I'm ready to get stronger. I found a comment I made on a lifting results success thread 2 years ago wanting to get stronger and of course I got sucked back into the eat less move more cycle. I am doing this!!! Lift, lift, lift!!!!!!

Thanks. Following!!!! I'm always more encouraged seeing people's non fancy home gyms. I'm going to get a real bench soon and some heavier dumb bells!! Where is you get your rack?

Thank you so much guys!! I have tried the Spray Oil but I sort of forgot about it!!! I think I will start using that on my roasted veggies that I make a lot! Most of my entries are custom made by me adding up ingredients. My lists would probably look insane to the outside looker. I label things so weird lol. I do use the…

I highly recommend getting a Fitbit HR. IT continuesly monitors your heart rate, calories burned and sleep which is very important to this process. It synchs with MFP and shows you your actual TDEE. Of course it's not the end all be all of accuracy but I feel like it's better than a calculator. It also emails you a report…

Forgot I had this one. From February I'm 5 lbs heavier than the pic on the right. I'm 5'8 so 5 lbs usually makes no difference. I can tell a difference in this one!!!
-
Well I guess that is good. I had my waist measured at my Drs office last month for insurance so I will measure it tomorrow to compare. I never trust myself measuring. I may have my husband help.
-
Thank you for the advice!! I packied an extra ounce for breakfast and lunch today and I'll do the same at dinner and it really does add up. Going to try some Greek yogurt again in a protein smoothie. Sometimes dairy bloats me so I have to be careful. I'm going to stick to once a week weigh ins and get super detailed with…

Holy crap that thing looks yummy. Good to know you can still fit in some serious dessert!!!! Not sure how my Omron works. It send pulses via feet and hands. My arms are still really big so I may still have that much body fat. Hopefully as I progress with the weight lifting it will decrease!!

I like the 40-30-30. I do find it hard sometimes hitting my protein. 145-160 is sooo much. The only dairy I like is sour cream ,cream cheese and regular cheese but my Dr told me to cut back on it because my cholesterol went up this year to 228! (My triglycerides went down though) I eat a lot of chicken, steak, pork and…

Thank you so much for your input. It helps so much to bounce this off other people who have been there. I have been rereading all the info from this site and watching KiKi’s vids. I always feel remotivated! For 3 months and didn’t weigh. I wanted to trust the process and let go of the worry of the scale. I eat 2200 -2400 a…

Thank you!! I seriously understand about the cortisol issue!!! I have REALLY been trying to work on it. I never have a problem eating enough. But I haven been trying to let go of clean eating mentality where I put so much worry into not eating too much sugar from Lara bars etc... I did a metabolism reset from November to…

Yes that is close. Mine is a little nicer. I have been trying to keep an eye on how long I do it and I think I will log is a under 2 mph walk.
