Could try to make dinner smaller, then snack later bigger, or divide up your dinner into 2 parts. Or decent bar or shake after workout, then delay dinner by a hour or two later than normal.

BMI is STRICTLY a function of height and weight. There is no other way to obtain it. Unless your weight went up by 5%, your BMI can't go up by 5%. I'd question this machine, maybe it's not BMI it's measuring (how can it, unless it's a scale)?

Peanut butter is a truly evil food. I see posters eating it while on diet. It probably represents 1/3 of my weight gain. I don't eat it any more. For 2 tablespoons to be 190 calories, and mostly fat at that, is just something I cannot do.
