You're gaining muscle mass which is what you want. You will lose more fat gaining more muscle, be patient with your body:) Also eat your exercise calories

I think it depends entirely on your body. I usually take mine in the a.m. sometimes before breakfast, sometimes after. But when I have taken them at night I haven't had any problems or perceived extra benefits.

You're probably not doing anything "wrong". Be patient with your body. sounds like you're doing well. You maybe increasing muscle mass from exercising which will temporarily slow your weight loss,(muscle weighs more than fat). If that is the case you weight loss will kick in soon.
