Originally from Norfolk but I've been living in London for the last 10 years! Feel free to add me!

I suffer from IBS and like you, my weight does fluctuate due to this (even though I'm small at 5ft it can jump up 3-4lbs from day to day). My advice would be to not worry about the number on the scale so much - take measurements. I exercise regularly so I know my body hasn't changed even if I feel bigger due to bloating…

Ha! I didn't actually know Findus still existed until yesterday!

According to my HRM I usually burn 350-500 cals per gym session - I'm only 5ft tall. I can burn over 500 if I do a 45 min class followed by 20 mins on the treadmill. I usually go after work around 7-7.30pm and I try to eat most of the calories I burn in the gym back.

Slow cooked Korean Beef http://www.bbc.co.uk/food/recipes/slow_cooker_korean_beef_67459 I put it on this morning before I left for work, I can't wait to eat it when I get home!

I would replace the 'fiber' column with 'fat' and look at the totals. I think you'll be surprised. There really isn't much healthy food in your diet and as the previous post said - more veg, more veg!

I'm 5ft and my BMI went up from 19.88 to 20.94 gawd dammit!
-
I was also going to reference Primula cheese as an alternative to the squirty stuff from the US! My Achilles' heel is crisps (chips). I will gladly eat any kind but the cheesier the better!
-
I'm only small (5ft / 102lb) and I would burn at least 200 cals doing the same exercise for 40 mins so it's definitely way out! As others have said, a HRM is a great investment for anyone trying to lose weight or keep in shape. I have an FT40 and I love it!

There are loads of us! Feel free to add me, I turn 33 this year! x

Love it!

I think a lot of the foods mentioned are quite popular in the UK (ie Sweet Potato, Goat's Cheese, Cottage Cheese, Spinach, Brussels Sprouts... to name a few). I'll eat anything really (except sweetcorn - yak!) but there are a couple of things I really like that others will turn their nose up at... Pickled Eggs Calves Liver

Well said!

You've obviously never been to the UK.

I can't believe the number of people who have responded to this post seriously and are still continuing to do so... ha! It's given me a good laugh anyway so thank you OP. BTW - Have you tried Rrowing?

I have a FT40 and I absolutely love it. It is a bit more expensive, but for me it was such a worthwhile investment.

I'm a little under at 5ft. I've been hovering around my goal weight (give or take a couple of pounds) for the last 6 months but I find that being so short, I have to really work hard to keep the weight off! Feel free to add me, I give positive advice x

Granola and skimmed/light soya milk padded out with lots of strawbs and banana - yum!

Definitely this. Maybe if I decide to go out for a brisk walk with the purpose of burning a few extra cals I will log that, but generally I don't log wakling or anything that fits into my daily life.

I find mixing it up is the best way! High intensity classes, swimming, low intensity cross-trainer workout, weights, running, pilates - keeps your metabolism guessing. Your body can get too used to routine so I find it good to do lots of different exercise (and you don't get demotivated!)

I'm pretty good when it comes to estimating but I find cereal weights difficult to guess as some are much bulkier than others. What looks the same in a bowl could be double the weight! Looking at other people's diaries, I've found a lot of people find this a problem too. Especially as a serving size on a packet is usually…

I also have the same problem, I've been suffering from IBS for 7 years. I'm only 5ft tall and sometimes my weight can fluctuate by 3-4lbs even though I've been eating healthy foods. I cut wheat and dairy out for 9 months (on the advice of a dietician) and it did make a massive difference with the bloating. I also lost half…

I have to wear foundation as I suffer from rosacea. I would feel very uncomfortable going out without it. I do not have confidence issues however.

I do a Body Pump class once a week and I'm currently on 14kg on the squat track. I'm very petite though (just under 5ft and 100lbs) but I hope to up the weight in the next few weeks. Unfortunately I suffer with tennis elbow so some of the tracks I find more difficult than others.

I also have an English accent (I'm originally from Norfolk but have lived in London for 10 years). I have been mistaken for an Aussie many a time!

We went to Egypt last year to visit friends who are living in Cairo for a couple years. It was fantastic! They took us to a place called Moonbeach (on the road between Suez and Sharm) which was so relaxing. I loved every minute of our honeymoon in Sri Lanka and also an adventure trip we took to Morocco a couple of years…
