Exactly. And everything in moderation.

I haven't given up any foods just everything in moderation or making sure I account for the calories to meet my daily goal.
-
Eat what you want just stay within your calorie allotment or exercise to burn your overage.

"Clean foods" are a myth. http://www.thespartanwarrior.com/post/9003266490/thedirtoncleaneating

The reason slim fast works is like any other diet plan. It controls your meal calories causing you to eat less than you normally would. If you count calories with MFP and stick to the daily calorie allotment you will lose weight with or without slim fast. Just make sure you get at least 1200 calories a day. The shakes are…

I'm with you on the Godsmack/Disturbed.

I eat whatever I want when I want. I just use moderation and attempt healthier choices when possible all of course below my daily limit.
-
I agree... I don't F around when it comes to coffee. Although I do prefer International Delight over CoffeeMate.

It's possible but typically 2 pounds a weeks is the max you want to lose. Losing too fast can be a bad thing and isn't considered healthy.

drink your calories in smoothies and protein shakes.

Well staying on the Back To The Future theme and since everything else is already taken, I'll go with the Gray's Sports Almanac. Won't need any genie lamps with it, and I could buy all the other movie toys. Also I'd feel like I'm somewhat working for my money when placing bets. :drinker:

of course... calculate your BMR here... http://www.myfitnesspal.com/tools/bmr-calculator then stay under it either with exercise or diet changes or rather both.

I agree chicken breast but just be careful because manufacturers love to inject it with sodium.

Yes sitting in a sauna does burn calories. The heat in dry saunas cause an increase in body temperature followed by an increase in metabolism. This, in turn results in more calories burned at rest which can result in weight loss. In a 20 to 30 minute sauna session, one can burn up to 600 calories.…

Turn it into sushi or sashimi.

When I have days like that I just continue on meeting my daily goal the next day or perhaps 100-200 cals under. Often I find the food before doesn't stick and just passes.
-
Congrads I agree... It's all moderation and a caloric deficit under your BMR. The "clean foods" idea is a myth. If you don't eat what you love it's a diet not a lifestyle change and you'll give up.
-
Good answer! Yes eat under BMR and if you plateau then you need to re-evaluate, eat more/less calories and up your workout.
-
I do this too...

I do farmer's market too. $2 seems to be the magic number for just about everything. If you buy in bulk you can freeze extra so it doesn't spoil and pick up a foodsaver off Craigslist on the cheap which will save you a ton. Also you can get a large bag of brown rice at Costco type places and use your fresh veggies for…

Try juicing your veggies. I do it every other day for breakfast. Works great.
-
I juice and take it with me in a 32 ounce Poweraid bottle to work. I only do one meal a day at most often every other day. My diary is open if anyone wants to take a look at breakfast.
-
Yes you need a deficit in calories. It doesn't matter what you eat. Do this and you'll lose weight even without exercise.
-
Low fat or sugar free CoffeeMate or International Delight if you have to but why mess up a good thing? Make room for it in your day or do a few more minutes of exercise if you have to.
-
neither... soy or almond.

I guess the real question is do you drink enough to puke? If so, you can eat whatever you want  In all seriousness, eat what you want. You can make up for it tomorrow with better choices. It's a lifestyle change not a diet.
