I guess we finally died out.... It was a good run!

Doing ok here. My son is still getting over his bout with the 'rona. Lucky for him, he didn't have a severe case, but some of the symptoms had mom worried, especially since he's 23 and doesn't live with me. Other than that, just getting my butt in gear and developing my workout routine. It's like Quik, stupid early gym…

I feel your pain. Although my attempts rarely get me close to my goal. I refuse to quit trying. I haven't gotten myself to log everything, every day, but I am starting be honest with myself. I am the only one who can change what I am doing. My health has gotten me to a diabetes diagnosis and I want to change that. Don't…

Had to delay my second dose here because of the freeze here in Texas. Got it rescheduled to this week.

I get my second dose on the 19th. I will keep in mind to take Advil or something right beforehand. Right before my vaccination, my doc had set me up to start the Ozempic injectable and Metformin. I waited until after the vaccine to start them. Mainly so I wouldn't get any side effects confused.
-
Don't be mad, it was by choice. I could have gotten it earlier, I just put if off until after I spoke with my doctor. I got the Pfizer version.
-
Yes, I had it about a month prior to the vaccine. Very mild, one day of fatigue and loss of taste and smell for about five days. My vaccination site is still a bit sore, we will see how the second goes on the 19th.

So I did a thing on Friday. I got my first dose of the covid vaccine. Work is about to make it a mandatory thing. First 24 hours, just a bit of a sore arm, second 24 the fatigue, aches and chills set in. Lasted about a day, then felt better. Second dose due at the end of the month! We shall see how that goes.

I am still in and out. I should make this a new habit. I need to log better anyway. It helps to have this group.

It's funny I look at the dates and realize we are still going, even if it is not everyday. I had my first covid positive patient at my clinic. Had to suit up for that one, although they were 15 days out and asymptomatic. I do understand the abundance of precaution, although I have seen comments from parents who feel we…

Can we just cancel out this entire year, please? Sorry for all that's going badly. Sometimes those things happen to present better opportunities.

Find something that you can focus on that doesn't require using your back. Are you trying to plan ahead? Meal plan. Anything you do to improve your focus on what you are trying to achieve is great.
-
You have the right mindset to get back to healthy eating. If you stayed in your calories, you will be ok. You will make the better choices next meal.

I have been doing some weight lifting the last couple of days. We are putting in a flagstone patio, so lift, move, shift and set! Glad I have the hot tub to soak in, although lately we are putting a bag of ice in it so it is a cool tub instead! :D

Good morning! Well MFP told me today is my ninth anniversary, so I have been here awhile. I have started over numerous times during those nine years. Today is no exception. Time to make some goals and work to reach them. SW: 215.4 (today) 1st goal: 200 2nd goal: 180 3rd goal: 160 Goal weight: ~145 So I am setting goals and…

Hi, this sounds like my kind of crew here. I just turned 50 this year. I have been off and on MFP for a long time now. I am trying to recommit as my health is starting to show cracks. My fasting glucose in the morning is elevated,as my BP is also. I haven't had my doctor offically diagnose me with diabetes yet or prescribe…

We had a close family friend quarantine himself. He hasn't been tested yet, but he thinks he has it. Another man that was a schoolmate of my husband and is a LEO, is on a ventilator now with it.

How's the distancing working for everyone? Who else is not working currently due to the quarantine? My outpatient clinic was closed going on two weeks ago now. It's weird being at home all week. I can't say that I have not enjoyed sleeping in. I don't sleep late, I'm naturally an early riser. I can say I was stress eating…

Almost done with my first week at home for my clinic closing. I have survived so far, but my weight is up for sure. I am trying to find things to occupy my time so I don't sit and watch TV and eat. Things here are strange. The stores are open and most folks are masked up, but they still are going out. I have been making a…

Things are changing at my job. Found out today that my part at the clinic will be closed until 5/16. That's five weeks..... I get to use what PTO I have and some of my illness bank. Anything over that and they are paying us at 60% of what we make. Our benefits won't lapse and we can sign up for a work pool to help the…

I wish I could work from home so I could help my 4th grader. I am in the clinic everyday and almost on my same schedule as before all this happened. I can't do ultrasounds from my house.
-
I'll confess that with all this social distancing, I have let my eating go out the window. Kinda like stress eating, I guess.
-
Same here. I am just grateful at this point that I am not losing hours at work.
-
Yikes. We have a stay home work safe madate here, not quite on lockdown yet. Had a brush yesterday, had to help with a patient that we thought was for pneumonia, but later was being tested for Covid-19. Haven't been sent home to quarantine because we don't know if the patient is positive yet.
-
I feel ya on that. I think I have been stress eating, due to the unknown here. I think Things will start normalizing somewhat. I am still going in to work each day. Daycare is still open for now, so things seem to be good. Every one is healthy.

He's adorable. I'm checking in safe from the corona mania. Lucy for me, I tend to over order from Amazon, so when the deliver time came for stuff that is sold out, I have plenty on hand. About two weeks before all this stuff happened, my daughter had a fever of 103 and was pretty punky for about a week. Can't really…

This is why I love the ones smart enough to have a Jump to Recipe button at the top!

I confess that I am the one stopping myself from getting where I need to on this journey. I keep derailing myself by not doing what I need to do to be consistent in this. Life happens, figure out how to work your plan with it.
