Overdoing it
So I started a lifting program this weekend. Did ok because I started with the recommended light weight and will build on the next workout. It was all the lifting and step ups I did working at helping get a trailer loaded for a cookoff that got me. My thighs are burning still. Any thing I can do to help reduce this?

First Day of SL5x5
Just finished and yes, it was a very light weight amount but it gets me excited for what is coming. I like to lift. I missed it and not sure why I gave it up. Looking forward to getting stronger each work out.

Cookoff Preparation or Defending my diet from BBQ!
Our cookoff team will be attending a competition and will be there for four days. I want to try and keep my calories in line and am considering making foil packet meals. That way I can prep ahead of time, freeze them and just toss one on the pit when I need it. Any good suggestions for what to put inside them?

Working on tweaking some recipes in my box and wondering if any of you out there have food substituions that you use regularly that work. Like replacements for butter, cream, some pastas, rice this type of thing.
