I got fired and have been unemployed for the last month, if we’re confessing really crappy things. 😥

    OH, no, Tami. That's awful!!
And, we're all here for the crap and I am sorry I missed this for two weeks.
When I say I'm buried at work, I mean it and so of course I added buying a house to my to do list.
    How is the job hunt?
On the positive side, someone else is reading the child porn now.

I dislike the Holidays.... and burlap.

    There! I said it!!

I like the holidays, but not most people's attitude about them. Burlap is for barns and live Christmas trees make me sick. There, I mostly agreed with you.

It's funny I look at the dates and realize we are still going, even if it is not everyday. I had my first covid positive patient at my clinic. Had to suit up for that one, although they were 15 days out and asymptomatic. I do understand the abundance of precaution, although I have seen comments from parents who feel we have gone off the deep end for non covid patients when it comes to PPE.

I am working on enjoying what time I get to spend with family this year. We had a good Thanksgiving and looking forward to Christmas. Still working on finishing the lights on my house.

I am still in and out. I should make this a new habit. I need to log better anyway. It helps to have this group.

I’m having my resume professionally rewritten as we speak. I love nannying for my grandson, but there was a reason I was not a SAHM!!! I cannot wait to get back in the work force !!!

Can I ask what it cost to have your resume professionally rewritten?

I feel you there! When my son was born, I arranged to take two years off work.....five months later I choose to go to work.

Hey! How are you all doing?? You showed up in my notices today, glad this is still alive! Quik I'm so sorry you got fired, that sucks. I'm sure you'll find something soon. I'm pretty much the same, just heavier. Trying to finally get it together and get back to where I was 4 years ago. Hope everyone is well!

Well, I got lucky.... my next door neighbor in Florida is a HR manager - unfortunately not in an industry that I’m familiar with 🤦🏻‍♀️
She is doing it for free. But, bc it is a favor I still have not received. I’m not in a huge rush tho

That’s terrific! If I don’t get one of the three jobs I put in for that I’m highly qualified for, I may have someone do mine.

So I did a thing on Friday. I got my first dose of the covid vaccine. Work is about to make it a mandatory thing. First 24 hours, just a bit of a sore arm, second 24 the fatigue, aches and chills set in. Lasted about a day, then felt better. Second dose due at the end of the month! We shall see how that goes.
