  • W7D2 ended up going just fine. I was supposed to do W7D3 last night but due to a bit too much drinking the night before...it didn't happen. And tonight I have a date with NKOTB so me and W7D3 shall meet tomorrow.

  • I am seeing NKOTB in concert tonight with Boyz II Men and 98 Degrees!!!!
  • Is it possible that you are not drinking enough water? Dehydration can be a major cause of headaches and more specifically migraines, which with the nausea, sounds like it might be what you're experiencing.
  • I'm pretty sure I'm going to do it. It looks very different from all of the normal exercise routines, and I love different! Not to mention if I come out looking like one of those beautiful Buti girls, that would be amazing! Not likely, but hey, it's something to work towards.
  • -I have hyperextension in my elbows. Because of this, when I was little, my elbows would come out of their sockets and get stuck, causing my mom to take me to the emergency room on a regular basis. -When I talk, read, listen, anything that has to do with words, I am always imagining that I am typing those words in my head…
  • Don't ever repeat a day just because you THINK you won't be able to do it. That's just like quitting before you start. Surprising yourself with what you are able to accomplish on each run is the best part of the program! Good luck!

  • I'm back everyone! I was on a week long unplanned and unnecessary hiatus. Just felt like being lazy, I guess. Finished W6D2 last night. I can't tell you how many times during that last 10 minute run I kept thinking "I can't do this anymore, I'm going to quit when I get to that stop sign" but then reached that stop…
  • Thanks Mindy!! I feel like going back to 8 minute runs tomorrow is going to be cake! I did 1.98 miles total on W5D3 (1.37 of that was running at a 14:35 mpm pace). I slowed down a whole lot to make sure I could get through it! On most days I run about a 13 min mile. So it sounds like you're doing great!! I just want to…
  • I made W5D3 my ***** tonight! I even kept running for about a minute after my time was up. Apparently I was going super slow because I ran the shortest distance I have since I started, but that's okay with me. I did it! I RAN 21 MINUTES STRAIGHT!!! I am in awe of myself.
  • I vote move on to day 3. It sounds to me like you completed the required intervals...you just had an extended break in between. I wouldn't think that would make much of a difference.
  • W5D1 last night kinda sucked. I was in a bad mood before I went out so that didn't help. Then my calves started to ache during my 5 minute warm up walk. So it was basically all downhill from there. I don't know what the deal was. I was slow as molasses, but I finished it. And on a positive note, I wasn't getting winded at…

  • I did it! W4D1 done! I wanted to drop to my knees and cry tears of joy and misery at the same time after that second 5 minutes. My new shoes got me through.
  • My vote goes for a W4D1 do-over. I think it is better to repeat a day until you are able to complete it than to go backwards. Great job getting as far as you did! I bet if you give it another try on a full night's rest you will finish.
  • Biscoff spread is my favorite thing in the entire world. I could eat it on/in everything for every single meal for the rest of my life!
  • I'm Tabatha  Thanks for the encouragement! A runner (just completed her first full marathon) friend of mine insists that I must get a foam roller to stretch out those muscles. I am sure I will break down and get one in the weeks to come.
  • Congrats on the loss and finishing W4D1 Mindy (is it Mindy?)! I am so glad that you are a day ahead of me in the program so everytime I start freaking out about a new week, I can come here and get inspired by you! :) I've gotta say, I'm not confident about completing that 5 minutes. Last night didn't go so well. My legs…
  • W3D1 in the books! The second 3 minute jog felt like it would never end, but I kept going and felt so proud afterwards! During the cool down I started to get sick to my stomach. . I'm thinking it was unrelated to the run though because 3 hours later I'm still not feeling so great.
  • Thanks gals for letting me know how W3D1 went for you. I am inspired and I can do this! I will let you know how it goes tonight.
  • I will be doing W3D1 tomorrow. Just took a peak at the workout. Jogging for 3 minutes?!!? Am I ready for this?! "Trust the process. Trust the process. Trust the process."
  • I am a Droid girl so I'm no iPhone expert. But my recommendation would be to change your phone settings to never sleep before heading out for your runs. Then you can always change it back when you're done. W2D1 was mostly a piece of cake. I had some cramping in my left calf muscle which I had to pause and shake out, but…
  • W2D1 tonight. Nervous but very excited!
  • I love this thread!! I want to print them all out and plaster them all over the walls!
  • Did w1d2 today. 2.03 miles which is. 03 miles better than day one. I skipped a couple days due to the derby festivities going on here in Louisville, KY, but I am back on track. I am worried about when I get to week 2 as well.
  • I started C25K last night. It got difficult in the last couple jogging sections, but I pushed through it. I don't have as much a problem with running out of breath as I do with lazy legs that tire quickly. I'm thinking about signing up for the Glow Go 5k on my 30th birthday in July!
