Just want to let everybody know that I'm still on planet Earth. Still very much doing the challenges and watching calories. I haven't been posting much, but I read everyone's posts when I can. I'm proud of my team. The support is awesome and the output is admirable. Everyone including the struggling ones are kicking butt…

My user name comes from my love of languages. Heofon means 'heaven' in Old English. I like it because it's a general noun, symbolic and one that I could remember. Another plus is that it's never already taken by someone else.

I got confused about the challenge week we were doing and didn't get any 5k's in. I was looking forward to it, but that's how it goes sometimes, I guess. Now I'm up to speed and ready to bring it!

Karin, All I see is that you lost 34 pounds! You rock! Don't worry about setbacks. A setback is just a setup for a comeback! Watch you do it!

Apparently the sign of a good doctor is not being able to get an appoinment with them. "Oh, he's a great doctor. You can't even get in to see him. Some people wait six months." "Yes, but I'm bleeding profusely today." "Do you know any so-so doctors? With bandages and such?"

Ok. I think we're good on the miles. I rode 44 miles this evening. 6 towns, 2 counties, and I visited my parents who live 20 miles away. Fun!

You name the miles and I'll do them. It's 43 to my dad's house and back. I did this back in June. I'm planning on doing a leisurely 16 miles tonight, but I can crank it up to whatever we need. I've only done 100 jumping jacks so don't do any extra out of necessity. I'll do my 1000 today and tomorrow. I'm so pumped and…

Thursday's challenges done. Only 300 crunches and 100 jumping jacks so far. Ill get 'em, though.

Hey, I'm up for that. :)
-
Oh yeah, I've done all my challenges today and yesterday. No crunches, jumping jacks or miles yet, but tomorrow's a new day. (I'm typing this using the correct account, mine! Sorry for the confusion, u2fergus.)

I'll do 1000 crunches, 1000 jumping jacks, and 20 miles.

I love the logo! I was really busy this week. I didn't post much, but I did all the challenges and of course the crunches on Tuesday. :) Two days after the 1000 crunch session my abs were so sore I could barely move. Now they feel awesome and stronger. I have to say, this site and you team members make exercising and…

I did all 1000 crunches! Took me 33 minutes. I just kept going... Ok, Monday and Tuesday were spent helping the wif with her foot. It was really fun and I think I actually burned quite a few calories. But I wasn't able to do my challenges. So, feeling really good tonight I did everything and now I'm caught up. Ah, on to my…

I did my globe jumps, stairs, and jumping jacks last night, but I didn't have time to post it, so here it is now. I'll pledge 500 ab crunches for this coming week.

No, my wife does a great job! She would've ridden ten miles with me, but she had an appointment yet she wanted to get as much in as she could before she left. That's dedication.
-
Did about 7 miles or so with my wife and then did about another 10 by myself. 17 miles altogether (yesterday).
-
Did today's challenge - 50 setups + 50 mountain climbers.
-
So far for the week I have my two challenges done and 16 miles.

Yes. I started P90X in 2007, but my schedule caused me to have large gaps between workouts. I got discouraged, but tried it again in 2008. Each year since then I tried to get back in it and for a while I did. This year I decided to do Power 90 with a friend who can't do P90X yet. Now I'm ready to start P90X again and stick…

I drink one diet soda every one or two days. I know the caramel color can contribute to kidney stones. Many artificial sweeteners have raised the risk of cancer in lab rats, and the there's the insulin thing. Although, as your body gets used to having the sweetener I would think that it would regulate the insulin output…
