    I did all 1000 crunches! Took me 33 minutes. I just kept going...

    Ok, Monday and Tuesday were spent helping the wif with her foot. It was really fun and I think I actually burned quite a few calories. But I wasn't able to do my challenges. So, feeling really good tonight I did everything and now I'm caught up. Ah, on to my Leadership and Organizational Behavior essay.

    Outwit da Chubby is hilarious!
    And... I think it follows our "Gimme the Skinny" naming pattern. I vote for that one.
    But we should still refer to each other as "Skinnies," of course. ;-)

    Heofon- Way to go dude on the 1000 crunches in one crack! I am 400 away from 1000. I felt really sick this morning and my stomach was really achy so I didn't do my normal 530am workout. Here I am moving around and its just my ab muscles hurting. I thought I was getting sick.

    Today my mom takes the kids til friday at 6pm. So Hubby and I are going on a date with the new motorcycle. Super excited for tonight. Friday we have a huge gathering for my brother in laws wedding on Sat. Then Sat I am gone from 10am to 10pm for the wedding. I think I will live on meal bars until the reception. They didn't hire a photographer so I will be snapping all the photos.

    I'm leaning towards the outwit the chubby too, i'm already getting idea's for our logo & tag :) On our siggy I can try to show a cast away (chubby person) walking away from tribal circle :bigsmile: Ohhhh how I wish I was in the office more today to work on this!!! I think that would help make up our decision :)

    I reserved a space for our team with Gary & just told him we'd send the name when we had one.

    Haha... that's awesome. :tongue:

    And you know what? I think I'm going to make every week a crunch week for me from now on! I could get used to not having a muffin top or pooch anymore!

    Question about the crunches.... Can reverse crunches be counted towards the count? I have been doing 25 crunches followed by 25 reverse crunches (while resting the upper abs) but have only been counting the regular crunches. Can my reverses count too? They are crunches after all, just working the lower abs.

    I agree with kdmallon... any crunch is a crunch, and personally, I think reverse crunches are even harder than regular crunches, so you go, mommaski! :smile:

    Daily check-in

    Ran 4.2 miles (tired today, so i didn't quite make 5 miles)

    + 200 jumping jacks
    + 3 sets of 21s
    +3 sets of wood chop

    + 200 crunches. ( total 700)

    I've been quiet the past few days due to an insanely crazy workload but I have been keeping up with everything! I have done five days of challenges, have the sixth day to do tonight or tomorrow depending on my time - I will do a two mile run and all my challenges will be met!

    I have definitely lost weight this week and can't wait to give you all my "official" weigh in. I finally broke my plateau in a BIG way...it was a long time coming lol....

    Crunches I have 850 down so far...the other 150 will be totally attainable!

    GO TEAM SKINNY!!

    ok, i've officially worked on this logo for about 5 hours. If no one objects...i've kind of merged the two idea's together. I'm going to use the plain circle for my profile picture and the rectangle in my siggy.

    and regarding the design....is anyone offended that we're leaving the fat person behind in the dust? I know i'm running as far away from that person as I can, and I thought it was a nice metaphor... we're officially "outing" the chubby

    AUGUST CHALLENGE #4: INSPIRE AND RETIRE!
    Week 4 and FINAL Daily Challenges

    Day 1: 2 sets of 20 Windshield Wipers, 3 sets of 21’s, 2 sets of Swimmer’s Press
    Day 2: 2 sets of 20 Tuck Jumps, 50 Squat Kicks, 20 Globe Jumps
    Day 3: 20 Split Squat Jumps, 3 sets of 20 Wood Chops
    Day 4: 40 ZigZag Hops, 3 sets of 21’s, 2 sets of 15 Swimmer’s Press
    Day 5: 2 sets of 20 Burpees, 50 Squat Kicks, 20 Globe Jumps
    Day 6: 20 Mountain Climbers, 3 Sets of 20 Wood Chops, 3 sets of 20 Tuck Jumps
    Rest on Sunday (or day of choice)

    Monday 8/29 - Final Days make them count! 200 Jumping Jacks, 100 Crunches, 10 burpees, 10 mountain
    climbers, 10 globe jumps, 10 Squat Kicks, 10 ZigZag Hops! These are a little different. IF YOU ARE ABLE
    AND YOU ARE! Do these consecutively. No stopping to rest, don’t break these into sets! I’ve designed
    this so you can see just how far you’ve come. Many of you would never be able to do all of these in one
    setting on August 1st. BUT YOU’VE Found the inner Beast, You’ve Unleashed you ROCKSTAR and you’ve
    become an EXERCISE MACHINE. I’m proud of you and you should be VERY proud of yourself!

    Tuesday 8/30- Final Days make them count! Walk, Run, Jog a 5K that is 3.2 miles straight no stopping! As
    fast or as slow as you need to! YOU CAN DO IT I PROMISE! At 447lbs I did it in one hour and 15minutes
    with 3 hills. You can do this I promise! PUSH YOURSELF AND PROVE TO YOURSELF YOU ARE A WARRIOR!
    Wednesday - REST BECAUSE THURSDAY ITS GOING TaaaaaRIBALLLLL!!!!!!!!


    Weekly Team Challenge
    4000 team crunches, 4000 Jumping Jacks and 100 extra miles! This equals about 200 per team for
    crunches and jumping jacks for the week along with an extra 5 miles for each team member! The Last
    part of the team weekly challenge is solicit a friend or family member to join MFP and begin the next
    month’s journey with you. Inspire others that’s easy. The retire portion of the week is about looking
    back at the past 30 days. You have had to retire many old habits, many excuses and reasons why not to
    exercise. It’s time to retire those and move forward to the new you! YOU ARE MY INSPIRATIONS! Keep
    it up as we INSPIRE our circle of influence and RETIRE the old ways! Go Inspirations Go!

    Yup... I just looked back and kristinmkartist said she was in for September (she wrote back after I posted that list) so we should add her name to the siggy. It looks like that makes our new team!

    Actually you're right, kristinmkartist did say she was in i'll add her to the siggy!

    Calition said she liked the name, but didn't specify if she wanted in. I might be able to get her on another team if she wants on, or we can start a 2nd group, becasue we can only have 10 with the captain included.

    here is the code...... now the secret trick is to change the capital IMG to lowercase img.....that's it.

    If anyone has trouble, you can change your password on your account to something stupid like 1234 for 10 mins for me to go put the siggy in for you, then when i'm done, change your password back to your regular password.

    I promise not to look at your private acct :)
