If you do the math 12 x 250 = 3000 cal for whole recipe 3000 cals / by 24 = 125 per cup cake

I make my own "cheez-its" I buy American Deluxe Cheese slices, cut a slice into 12ths and put on parchment paper in the microwave for 45 seconds or until the edges start to brown. They come out crispy and taste like cheez-it crackers. I used to do this when eating low carb. They are so good!

I believe the article said they are counting the tomato sauce on the pizza as a vegetable NOT the pizza. To be honest - I don't see a problem with serving pizza in a school lunch. We had pizza for hot lunch when I was in school. It's not just the food that kid's are eating, but sitting on their duffs playing video games…

I know for me, the artificial sweeteners were making me sick. I had used them for 20 years and within the last few years I started having health issues that no doctor or lab test could figure out and my sugar levels were in the 300's on two insulin's and three different types of pills. It got so bad that I was sick to my…

I put cocoa powder and a few chocolate chips in mine - delicious and low calorie too!

I take 1 tbs mea ploy sweet chili sauce and mix with 1 tbs of lite miracle whip. It tastes great to me. Sometimes I will take shrimp warm it on the stove and mix the chili/miracle whip sauce with it and put over salad. Yummy!

My favorite protein snack is pepperoni chips. I get the big slices from the deli and stick in a 200 degree oven until they are dry and crisp. Yummy!

I would enter the whole recipe into "my recipes" then divide by the number of servings you get. That way you will have an accurate calorie count.

I wouldn't give in the sweet tea craving. Make your own tea and use stevia to sweeten. Makes it taste just as good as sweet and isn't artificial. I find if I justify one thing it makes it easier to justify others. Either way - you should enter it into your diary. It will help keep track of where the extra calories are…

Here's a recipe for a non-fat, low-cal tasty ice cream treat. Fill a large zip lock bag with ice and add a 1/2 cup of table salt. The salt is to make the ice super cold and speed freezing. It does not touch the ice cream. In a measuring cup, pour 1 cup of almond milk (I like PureAlmond Unsweetened only 35 calories for 1…

Peel them, cut them in half and freeze. When you crave ice cream, put one in a food processor with a little Stevia and enjoy! Sometimes I put a tsp or two of Peanut butter in the processor with the banana and have peanut butter/banana ice cream.

I just mixed some greek yogurt with a Kashi Pumpkin Spice bar crumbled and a little Stevia powder- it was so good!

Some times I get a craving for cabbage rolls - weird I know. I will take the cauliflower and shred it to the size of rice and mix that in instead of the rice - it is really good!

If you love peaches try this recipe w/coconut oil - It is delicious. I will never bake another peach cobbler again. I halved the recipe and it had only 115 calories per piece (1/8 of a pie) http://eco-chick.com/2009/08/4262/raw-food-recipe-late-summer-peach-cobbler/

My dad did the Medifast Diet (is this the one you are talking about?) He lost some weight on it, but when he went back to eating normal again he gained the weight lost plus a lot more. My advice is to eat healthy and exercise. There is no shortcut to healthy. You may lose, but I'm afraid in the end you will gain again. 700…

I am doing it right now. Day 1 Level 2. I weigh 225 pounds and have been able to do it - she gives modified versions of some of the moves. If you feel you are having troubles - do the best you can and continue. Your endurance will build over time. One of my friends is doing it and lost 7.5 inches the first week. Trust me…

Anything that has calories I add to the diary - "low" calorie foods can really add up during the day. I also log no calorie foods - just to keep track of what I am eating.

Good for you! Keep up the good work!

I have been diabetic for about 20 years. I have been on insulin for years and my diabetes was still uncontrollable. Within the last month I have been able to drop my insulin amount from 60 units of one kind and 1.8 of another one down to 10 units of one! Friend me if want. I'm sure I have been through what you are going…

Do you use a lot of artificial sweeteners - they can play havoc with your body.
